Well tonight we decided to try something a little different. We decided on Jason's Deli located on Gateway Street in Beaumont Texas. The place is very nice and they're were quite a few people dining. The staff was courteous and friendly. Greeting every customer that came in. Nice to see employees that really enjoy there job. I decided to get a new sandwich called. "The Carmela" which consisted of three meats. Ham, salami, pepperoni melted provolone cheese, spicy piquillo pepper relish on toasted sour dough bread toasted and my fiance ordered the Deli Cowboy which consisted of 1/2 pound pit smoked brisket, cheddar, red onions, barbecue sauce toasted on New Orleans French Bread. Both sandwiches were served with potato chips. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. You have a choice of a half or whole sandwich. There was a huge salad bar, a large variety of beverages and they even had ice cream for desert. My first experience st Jason's Deli wonderful. If you're visiting Beaumont stop in to Jason's Deli.

The salad bar is well stocked, clean and always manned. The lady cleaning it has been doing a wonderful job. The staff at the counter were friendly and helpful. The Reuben chicken salad sandwich and broccoli soup were all very good. We visited this location in hopes that the original store would have the original food I grew up having but it’s changed, I really wanted the original bbq sandwich. The chopped bbq now taste like the great value brand at Walmart. The recipe of the potato soup isn’t the same. Would love to see the original BBQ sandwich (cowboy), spud and potato soup come back, they were amazing. The cheaper products are highly acidic and truly taste like something you’d get at Walmart. This is the second Jason we visited in a week, it’s the same at both unfortunately.

I haven't been to Jason's Deli in years... I was so disappointed to pay $13+ for a Rueben that really isn't a Rueben at all. Nothing is grilled! Then our food just set at the end of the counter for 5 min until I asked the person standing and the register doing nothing if I needed to come pick up my own food.

I love Jason's and I understand the restaurant business.Because I work in it but the prices have really slowed me down from ordering from yall. It breaks my heart because I really love Jason's so much. And you're a local business so I'm gonna give you my service. But I don't make that much money. I work for a restaurant as well and when I had to pay almost $20 for a 1/2. A sandwich that's supposed to be some kind of manager. Still, I just find that a little bit Too Much when I can Go a lot of other places can get a wholesale which chips a drink and get it for a lot less. I'm just saying I love the service.I love the food. The prices are out of control, though, and you'll continue to go up every time I decided to order which was today. The prices go up every time I try to order. So I don't understand what's going on.But it's definitely going to slow your space in this down.Because people just don't have the money to spend twenty dollars on a sandwich anymore. Like I said, good quality food.Good quality ingredients, cost money.I understand that but I think you're going a little overboard on the prices but that's my opinion. I will still come to Jason's when I have the mome but when I don't.I guess I'll just go to HEB Where I can get a huge sandwich and a soup for ten dollars. I'm also a part of the Jason's deli club or whatever you want to call it, but I never receive any offers. I never get any points. I never get anything free so I don't see what the point in being a member when there's no incentive to be a member. You get nothing or is because I don't spend enough money. I don't understand. I can. I come weekly. I used to come more before ya'll. Keep going up on the prices ?ou think you all could come out with for those of us that are part of the Jason's deli rewards. What's the point in being part of the rewards? You don't get rewards Or incentives unless you spend a huge amount of money every year. With your process that won't be happening. I'll miss you guys, but I'll go to h. E! B and buy me a whole sandwich. Or I'll go to market basket. And they actually make sandwiches in the back and they cut the meat fresh in front of you and the cheese. And it's half the price of which also hate that it has to be that way, but maybe I'll need to start thinking about that. You're losing a lot of customers. Because you continue to go up on your prices. And I'm not a senior citizen that so I'd that doesn't mean I get a discount. I don't get any kind of discount as much as I buy from you. I should have some points. Apparently I don't have any. So it is what it is, but I will not be coming in years off. And I can tell you all that really sucks. Because I...

Edit 07/2023. It's been over a year since I left a review and this place has not changed. At noon on a business day when all of downtown and surrounding businesses come here, they have one person on the register. The line was backed out the door. I went to the Dowlen location 2 weeks ago and they had 3 people on the register at lunch during a business day. The line was moving quickly and efficiently.

Original: Horrible service. My work group has gone here every other week for the past 10 years and the quality of service over the last year and a half (as of 02/2022) has gone down significantly. I'm not sure how a restaurant only has one person working the register during lunch rush with the line backing up to the door. Majority of the people showing up during the week are there on their work lunch break. Having to wait 10-15 minutes to order because they only put one person on the register is a little frustrating. They used to have multiple people on the register but now only one. Today when we order one person in our group received their food while the rest waited about 30 minutes to receive their food. Apparently, they delivered some of our food to another table and then forgot about the rest. There were people that ordered after us that received their food, ate, and left before we ever got started. This wasn't the first time this happened either. We'll probably take Jason's out of our lunch rotation going forward, which is a real shame because the...

Horrible.. I have an app. My rewards weren't being able to be added through the store even though I was told that my phone number was accepted. So I called customer service to have them added. I was told they would be added even though they were 2 months out, but after finally sending in my receipts to them, they refused to add those. Extra points, or even given me anything in return..I'm not to pleased being a customer for some 20nyrs. With this outcome. Spoke with a Addison who said she would add the points even though it was late. Then with Hanna today( extremely mean mannerism) said she would not add my late points even though I was told I would have my points added and now I was lied to..SMH. I guess they do not care about their customers. It's just points,it's not money. It's my money that I spent. I've gone through so much have havoc for the points to be added and now I'm was told no to them be added. We'll I will not be going to Jason Deli anymore relizing how the care so much for...
