OK, so obviously, my experience with THIS Ihop is not good. Let me start with a small story. Last week, I order online. My brother goes to pick it up, waits an hour, literally, and finally asks, where is the food. Turns out their online system is not working, there is no order for us. THIS, is not what annoyed me, what annoyed me was that after an hour of him waiting is when they will say that there is no order, not when he asked. OK fast forward, I write to corporate because since we did not get the food we ordered, I wanted a refund. District manager calls me, tells me sorry all that and that when I go next, meal is on them no matter what I want. Ok, Today I go to get my mean, granted it was 3 of us, I was not going to expect them to comp all 3 meals. Well I always want to give a restaurant the benefit of a doubt. But my family and myself have been going to the Ihop by Mall, and guess what, the food is amazing, so I am sorry I hold this Ihop to the same standards as the other Ihop. Our food was so greasy. Imagine that in the exact same grill, they cooked all the food at once, but the grill is soaked in oil. It came out dripping, literally. My mother tried to eat her too, but gave up half way. I do not know if the food gods just had it out for us this morning, but our cook was not having it today XD. I tried to mask my food with salsa.. yeah did not work. Waitress come back and gets the plates, asked me about mine since obviously I did not eat it, I tell it it was disgusting. She said well did your order it sunny side up. We all did, that is obvious, and then when I said yeah, she just walks away. Well we call the manager over to comp 2 of the entrees that they owed us. I placed a mobile order and when arrived it was brought out curbside now the girl who delivered my order was good she done a great job. After returning to our shop to eat after a long work night i discovered that my eggs were runny and i did not recieve my bacon not to mention the sausage they gave me was not links and i did not like it at all. We called i hop they apologized and said they would replace our whole order for the inconvenience at that time we were pleased . We arrived at the restaurant and My work partner took the food back in and went to the restroom to tend to his business. After a few minutes i started getting a belly ache also so i went to the restroom after afee minutes a woman came in and asked if i was ok i responded yes (now embarrass) and explained i had an upset stomacmy h before i could finish my business the door ooened again and they are knocking on the mens door slaying rhey were calling rhe police! Now im a little confused and mad and embarrassed by what is taking place . We own a business and I could not imagine doing this to our customers. I come out of the restroom and have to stand infeont of every othee customer who listened to all this to get my food . Can you imagine having to go thru this. Now once again the poor girl who gave us our food was very apologetic for a situation she did not create. After i returned to the car i realized that all of the order was not replaced so after we went back in they still proceeded to give us a hard time all I know is this was a horrible experience and I will never step foot inside that IHOP...
Read moreWe recently placed a mobile order for drive-up pickup, hoping for a smooth and satisfying meal. While the ordering process itself was quick and easy, everything that followed missed the mark.
My entrée, an omelet that was supposed to come with pancakes, arrived incomplete—no pancakes included. For my children, I selected the smiley pancake option, but what we received were plain, overly browned pancakes without any of the fun or care that was expected. Each kids’ meal included just one pancake and a very small fruit cup, which felt lacking in both portion and value.
The kids’ menu allows you to choose either a small side like fruit or a heartier plate with eggs, sausage, and bacon. What’s unclear when ordering is that choosing anything other than the full breakfast plate leaves you with just one small side item. For the price, that’s disappointing and should be more clearly explained.
What concerned me most, however, was the staff member who delivered our order—licking her fingers right before handing over the food. It was unprofessional and unhygienic, and it left us deeply uncomfortable.
Since we live about an hour away, returning to fix the order wasn’t an option. Unfortunately, this experience reminded me of why I hadn’t been back in years. I hope the management takes feedback seriously, because this visit made it clear that there’s a lot of room for...
