This McDonald's on Major is a HORRIBLE mess and has been this way for many months. Services already slow and while on my visit there (I'm typing this while waiting for a kid's meal which I ordered around 6PM and it's 6:18PM). The manager on duty (Brandy) has made a POOR MANAGEMENT DECISION to send all the kitchen crew home because she's upset and stated she will do it herself but you have the drive thru wrapped and 6 people in the lobbyđł. If she was smart and knew how to properly manage she would've had them getting people orders done and then sent them home. That's ridiculous and unprofessional having people waiting that long. Hell you may not wait that long at a sit down resturant. I refuse to eat at McDonald's. They have lost their touch BIG TIME! I only come because my grandkids and the hubby. I rather go to the Phelan location but WHY should I have to travel for quality service and food when I live 2 minutes (honestly) from this location. This location is worse than 105. A lot of people is no longer felling McDonald's as a fast food resturant because NOTHING is fast about some locations nor the quality of the food. Let me tell you, if youâre looking for a McDonaldâs that truly values its customers, this is it. I placed a mobile order that my husband went to pick up, but the code wasnât working. He left without the food, and I decided to call the store. Thatâs when I spoke with Mr. John, the manager, and he completely blew me away with his incredible customer service.
Even though the issue was on my end, Mr. John sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. He reassured me that he would get the order prepared and ready for pickup. When I arrived, he greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I was taken care of.
He calmly explained how to avoid the issue in the future and was able to get the mobile code to work. His patience and kindness showed exactly why he is in a leadership position. He even added a courtesy meal and a Big Mac to make up for the trouble, even though I reminded him that it was my mistake.
Mr. John went above and beyond. His professionalism, care, and willingness to help turned a frustrating situation into a positive experience. This is the kind of service customers remember. I give Mr. John, the manager, a 100/10 for outstanding...
   Read moreOrdered my usual, Filet of Fish Meal, with a Dr. Pepper and an add-on of Iced Coffee McCafe. Only a minute or two later, I was pulling forward to the payment window. Surprisingly speedy for this location -- known for long wait times. Things are looking up, I thought. But of course, always a problem here. My hopes for getting what I wanted were soon dashed when told "our McCafe machine is down", and "we are out of Dr. Pepper." (Im thinking - Isn't this just Iced coffee? Either cold brewed and A coffee machine?). Does no good to complain anymore, I know the drill. The employees just don't like making coffee late in the day if they have cleaned the machine recently. (Note this also applies to their fruity frozen drink machine thingy). I overheard that directly from an employee behind the counter over a month ago. I have been coming here for over six months every week. And I have NEVER been able to get a McCafe Iced Coffee.
