TERRIBLE FOOD! TERRIBLE SERVICE! I used to eat from here daily about a year ago and decided to come back this year. The lady at to go on may 18,2025 was INCREDIBLY rude and did not have a care in the world about the restaurant's customers, clearly! She could not explain to me why the shrimp were significant smaller than usual. Told me she would ask but it'll take her 30 mins so when I arrived I asked again and she said she still has no answer and maybe they just cook them longer for to go orders! BS! I always ordered to go and the sizes would be the exact same as sitting at the grill. ON TOP OF THAT: they gave me mushy STEAMED rice instead of FRIED. My steak was hard and chewy, AND COLD! And of course shrimp was smaller than my pinky toe! I even asked her if I ordered one of the chefs special vs choice of "two" would it make a difference in the shrimp size she says they all are the same size. Ehhhh. Okay. Lastly, I did not receive a soup nor a salad. NOR did she ask when I ordered. I was so upset about the lack of customer service and small shrimp that I got home to notice no salad or soup either. So this review was a MUST for me....

I have to admit, I was very disappointed in the food here.

We came here for my daughter's 13 birthday with some of her friends who had never experienced a hibachi before. I had high hopes but they were a let down.

The hibachi chef was great and interacted well and did an ok job on the food. The California roll was good.

I ordered a sashimi plate and I couldn't eat much of it. Several pieces did not taste fresh and other pieces were such large chunks of fish that it was very hard to eat. They don't give you a knife and should know how to slice sashimi.

My son ordered the hibachi ahi tuna. The sear was fine but again, the chef just laid the whole slab on the plate, didn't slice it and there is no way for you to do it yourself. The flavor of the hibachi food was ok but not spectacular. Overall the food was very mediocre and definitely not worth the price. I would avoid the sashimi.

The onion soup was very bland and tasted like they had just warmed up some beef broth from a can and poured it into a bowl. Maybe the miso is better?

I will not be back to this place. $200 can be spent at much...

The host has seats ready at hibachi within 5 minutes of us getting there but we had to wait on our friend. Lol. After being seated the waiter was very accommodating. He didn't miss a beat with 4 rowdy construction hands. Haha. He brought us our drinks very quickly. Can't remember his name but he had light colored or red hair and a beard. That dude was awesome. 4 more people came and were seated at our table and the only problem was when they delivered the food. We all ordered similar food. But NOTHING was forgotten. Anyway our "apps" and things came and everything was delicious. Our cook was friendly and skilled even though noone caught a shrimp in the mouth. Everything was reasonably priced but watch yourself. One more roll made my ticket go from $40-$50 which isn't bad but you can easily spend $100 by yourself. If you're looking for a great dinnertime experience that's tasty, entertaining, and scrumptious try Tokyo.
