Iâm giving this place 3 stars because our family has been coming here for some years now. The food is generally good. I always get the gyro salad and occasionally an actual gyro. The prices are pretty outrageous for what you get and that disappoints me to have to say. Today, I came to get a salad, my son wanted a burger and fries, and my brother the same.
The burger is $8. Just the burger. Itâs a patty on a bun. The fixings are given on the side but they give you cut up romaine (like what they use for the salad). Itâs about the most basic of basic burgers you could have. $8 and doesnât come with fries? To add fries is $5- OUTRAGEOUS. When I mentioned to the cashier that they were expensive for cut up, deep fried potatoes, his response was âwe make them fresh to order so theyâre always freshâ⌠isnât that standard? For $5 they better be fresh.
On my salad, I asked for extra dressing. I was charged for it and even double checked with the cashier before we left saying âthe extra dressing is in there?â He said âyesâ. I get home and itâs not. I have to ask for extra because the half cup that comes with it doesnât cover the whole salad.
On one of the burgers ordered, they ran out of buns so used pita bread as the bun. Obviously not ideal, but we said it was okay because we were hungry. Didnât even offer any sort of accommodation or compensation.
All of this wouldâve been okay if everything wasnât so damn overpriced. It just feels like robbery and doesnât feel good to...
Read moreI hope the owner sees this as I'm appalled. We order food from here about 2x a week and have no intention of coming back now. They made our order and gave it to the wrong customer, who then took it mistakenly and left the restaurant for 5 mins. The other customer brought the food back 5 mins later and said it was the wrong order. The person working then told my wife to take it since it looked like it hadn't been opened. She politely asked them to remake it since she wasn't sure if they'd gotten into it and they were gone for 5 mins with it. She was told unfortunately we can't remake it. She asked two more times and they said no. How is that safe? Someone left the restaurant with our food for 5 minutes and we're expected to take a non sealed container and assume it's not contaminated!? This happened at 5:45pm on May 8th. Absolutely pathetic customer service. They tried to say the other customer only left with it for "60 seconds". My wife kindly pointed out that 2 other customers had since been served and it was 5 mins. Totally fell on deaf ears. Horrible customer service. I'd be embarrassed if I was the management here. Quick lesson on Customer Lifetime Value - Your decision to not remake that food item will cost you about $500 in revenue from our family in the next 6-months. Not to mention all the money lost in the years to...
Read moreI love Greek food and this place was close to my new house so I REALLY wanted to like this place. I've also eaten at many Greek restaurants and don't consider myself very picky. The food here was flat and underwhelming. Lamb wasn't tender nor well spiced. In fact, it was very bland and I didn't really enjoy it. I ordered a gyro but was given a bowl. It was okay, but the bowl out my salad and my rice under all of the gyro toppings, so everything lost any bits of flavor that was there. Service was cool, not friendly, and I was asked if I was "taking it to go since they close in a half an hour". This isn't a fancy sit down meal so that was a bit surprising since I ordered, received, and ate my meal in a very short period of time (well before they closed but I just had to eat it in my car which wasn't easy). The bowl was thrown in the bag unsealed, and contents spilled out into the bag. Really, really disappointed. I tried the baklava. The guy working the counter overcharged me for the baklava from the stated/posted price. The baklava was cloyingly sweet and so full of honey it was a mushy mess. I sadly won't be back as there is a MUCH nicer and better flavored Greek restaurant right down the road...
