After 3 similar experiences, it's time to Karen out on this place. I guess nothing is addressed until it goes public. I am happy to change this review if I in turn see changes. I use apps at most restaurants now. It is a shame that employees at many different restaurants do NOT prioritize those of us trying to make it easy for them by doing all the work of ordering, typing in special instructions and running our payment so that literally all they have to do is prepare it and hand us the bag of food. All 3 times that I have ordered by app in the last month I arrive to find that the order is not complete, despite and estimated completion time being reported as 5 minutes before I arrived. They go over to the little ticket machine, punch a button and then "Oooohhhhh yeah OK I 'll make this for you." Wow, thanks for that. And this is after standing in the designated "Online Order Area" for at least 5 minutes before being acknowledged. If you cannot handle the orders, please turn off the app options. Starbucks does this when their employees call in "sick" and the store cannot handle the app orders. At least this way people can stop showing up expecting your admittedly delicious food in a convenient, fast way.
**These 3 times the store was NOT busy with in house guests and were mid day off hours. Possibly 3 tables had people already eating at them and maybe one person in line to order. One time there was only one line worker however she was NOT busy doing anything but ignoring my polite 11 year old son who was standing in the "Online Order Area" waiting patiently to be acknowledged.
UPDATE: The young man today (10/31 at 4pm) was kicking B*TT at his job! 5 stars for him and bumping this review up. Our order was perfectly timed and he was managing a busy in house...
Read moreHad come in for two large chowmeins, the guy only had enough for one chowmein box. I had to wait for the other which is okay. I went to pay on advanced and then sat down But 5-10 minutes later I notice that there was new chowmein. But the guy was taking another order so I waited to see if I would be acknowledged. Another 10 minutes go by and I still haven’t gotten my chowmein. I told the guy I was still waiting for it and he got me it. He gave me the old chowmein frok when i first placed the order (20 minutes ago, I know people usually exaggerate the time but I placed my order at 10:58AM, and didn’t exit the building until 11:22AM). I told him I wanted to new one which he then gave me. He didn’t offer a bag or anything, handed me the two boxes and told me to have a good day. He didn’t apologize for the wait for forgetting my order either. The chowmein was hot, but I was missing almost a whole inch of chowmein off the top, which surprised me since this location normally tops it off well. I wouldn’t have written this review if the guy apologized or at least gave me my full serving of the...
Read moreThe 3 people in front of me along with the 4 behind me each wanted up to 20 minutes to be served just before 8pm the night of March 17th. 5 visible employees on the line. Multiple times did the main employee touch their face then the food and the garbage and food no handwashing or gloves. No announcement to the line thanking us for our patience or closure of any kind. Was about to walk out but the line started to move. Visible paper products in stocks but lots of organization of employees constantly topping off half full rows of paper cartons instead of addressing the line. Was not a welcoming environment and I did not feel valued as a customer. I got to the order spot and order my usual and then was asked to water another 6 minutes for one of the items to be done cooking. This should not happen managers should forecast crowd volume and have food ready to go especially an hour and a half before close. I will not return to this location as the environment from this visit will be enough to not be able to enjoy the...
