Was famished after a great hike, hence we decided to head over, since i had never tried this place before. Was not too crowded on a Monday at 5pm. But there were quite a few patrons there. Pet friendly patio with 3 tables, each capable of seating 4-6people. Masks were necessary to get welcomed inside but they were not mandatory to be worn at all times (except when eating), although it was advised. Ample space left between tables and patrons, service staff wore masks at all times. The menus provided, looked and felt sanitized. Headed inside to wash my hands before touching anything. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Automatic soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser w/ motion sensors ensured that i did not have to touch anything that i didn't need to. Ordered a lemonade w/ mango flavoring since i was parched. Then proceeded to order the 34oz bone-in ribeye with soup of the day (baked potato) and Aussie fries. Also added garlic butter and a lobster tail as extras. The server had misheard me and brought sweet potato instead of soup of the day, but swiftly rectified her mistake and got me the soup instead, at no extra charge and left the sweet potato for us to enjoy as well. Lemonade was very refreshing. Mango flavoring was at the very bottom and i liked that i had the option to mix it or not with the rest of the lemonade. I liked the Mango flavoring but my wife didnt like it as much. I thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing lemonade before and after mixing the flavoring. Also got a free refill on the lemonade. The free bread and butter(?) was light, savory and delicious as well, it was very tough to keep my hands off it. I was expecting something cheesy with the Aussie Fries, but they were just like standard fries, pretty good but nothing to write home about. Baked potato soup made up for it with the cheesiness. Was pleasantly surprised with how tasty it was. Every spoonful led to a long string of cheese from the bowl to my mouth. Potatoes were well cooked, perfect amount of cheese, soup was well seasoned. Medium rare Ribeye came out perfect. Could not cut a single piece without the meat oozing out savory goodness. Drizzled with roasted garlic butter, it was heaven. Well seasoned, flavorful, very filling, will order again. Lobster tail was pretty great as well but the garlic butter just elevated it a bit more. I usually do not get extras, but i think the garlic butter really added value to both the meat and the lobster. Finally finished everything off with the Chocolate Thunder Down Under. Light fluffy cream on top, ice cream on the bottom, chocolate syrup at the base and hot fudge on the side. Its hard to go wrong with that! Very delicious dessert, a must share among friends and family. Hot Chocolate Fudge paired with cold Vanilla Ice Cream was incredible. The light and fluffy cream on top with chocolate flakes complimented the rest of the dessert very well. Was thoroughly satisfied with my first visit. Food was delicious, service was impeccable, value for money was decent. Cannot wait to be back here again to try out the Blooming Onion and the...
Read moreOrdered delivery from here tonight. I’ve never eaten here before but always drive past it as it’s not far from my house. I wasn’t sure what to expect and with all the good reviews, I figured it’d definitely be a hit!
I got the Queensland Pasta with steak and shrimp. I ordered an extra shrimp skewer and a slice of cheese cake. DoorDash said it’d arrive in about 40 mins and to my surprise, it was here in 22mins! Kinda fast but okay I guess.
Open the bag and there’s 2 plastic containers. No napkins, plasticware or anything which, I’m used to by now as restaurants seem to never include those anymore even IF you ask and pay for them.
I open the container with the pasta and am bit grossed out at what I thought was the steak, but turned out to be some sort of Rye/pumpernickel bread? It was ROCK HARD so I tossed it. Seemed like it had been left on the counter for 3 days.
Oh well I wasn’t expecting bread so no big deal.
I grab a shrimp skewer and it’s cold. In fact, both skewers had cold shrimp. Definitely wasn’t freshly made and had been sitting there. It doesn’t take long for shrimp to get cold so this is a big mistake on the kitchen. Poor timing.
I move on to take a bite of the fettuccine and notice the pasta is lukewarm, noodles are all stuck together and some of them are hard. Again: what’s happening in that kitchen?
To finish off my meal I try the steak skewer. It was the only thing that was almost hot. Flavor was good, cooked rare as I requested.
Cheese cake? Pretty good. Wish I requested chocolate sauce on the side but I opted for plain. Still delicious.
This experience has been a disappointment. I’ve always wanted to eat here since I was a kid seeing commercials and this wasn’t at all any level above what I’d get from Noodles and Co. It was lower.
For the price, this was not it. $32 for cold food? I would have rather had my order take the full 40 mins if that meant it’d be hot.
I’ll be passing on...
Read moreWent for Husband's birthday with a couple friends. Food was alright, I mean, Sisco food cooked the Outback way, so, it was alright. Started out by being led to a table to which I needed to use one of the napkins to clean off the back rest as there was something really icky on it. When I asked the waitress for a new napkin, the attitude in return was less than affable. Getting situated, my feet kept sliding on something on the floor, another napkin and no, her attitude didn't improve when I told her I found that napkin under the table. (Were it just me for dinner, I'd have walked out at this point).
The waitress, was a bit of a one trick pony. Although our guests were showing up late, we were wanting to order appetizer, drinks and ask a couple questions about the menu. She would ask a question for the table, get an answer then just walk away, leaving us with more questions and a lot of time between before she showed up again. When our guests showed, same thing, she asked a question got one answer and walked off. Ended up actually not ordering what I originally thought too because I truly felt I was bothering her So I just settled on a quick and easy salad not to impose any more trouble on the waitress about food or anything pertaining to her job.
Needless to say, she was left a more than fair tip that she actually did not earn. I felt maybe this would make her night better and help out her attitude a bit. I understand customers ordering can be a bit of a pain, yet our group was kind, tried to be quick and not bother too much. But isn't it funny than you leave a resteraunt, feeling bad about making the waitstaff do...
