MILA THAI (มิร่า ไทย) — Restaurant in Beaverton

We were looking for Thai food that had vegan options, and MILA THAI looked promising. We ordered the Basil Fried Rice, Tom Kha Soup (both with tofu), Pad Thai, and the Pad Kee Mao (both with chicken). Other Thai takeout places sometimes use fish sauce in their vegetarian foods, but we had the option for asking for a completely vegan dish, which my vegan parents appreciated. Almost any dish can be made vegan or vegetarian upon request! The food was made fresh and both proteins (tofu and chicken) were fantastic. The food was literally fresh off the stove (wok?) and stayed hot for the 20 minute drive home, and was so hot when I opened it that I had to let it cool off a bit. I tried a bit of every dish and loved all of them. The chili oil that comes with the food is great and adds a nice flavorful kick to any dish. Spice levels seemed fair, and I recommend medium for a good balance of spice and flavor (I order medium at other restaurants and this seemed similar). Highly recommend MILA THAI for anyone looking for vegan options or looking for a great Thai food. We were on the fence and we're so glad we tried it. It's a one-woman show, and she was incredibly nice and helpful. Prices and portion size were incredible, and we all have leftovers. Highly recommend, and we will be back!

Keep in mind this is a food cart, but there is covered seating outside of the cart and a decently-sized parking lot if you want to eat...

This is my second time coming here, because the first time I came I had the best Thai food I could ever have, and the crab puffs are out of this world. They have a lot of crab in them a lot of stuffing, and you can actually taste the crab.! The egg rolls were delicious with a nice Sweet chili sauce, And chicken potstickers!!! All tasty! Previously, I’ve had the Shrimp Kee Mow, again delicious and fresh, and the spice was just how I liked it and I asked for the vegetables well done and actually got the vegetables. Well done, lol.! I love me some Pad Thai, and when the opportunity to try a new place arises, I get very excited. The price is killer, first and foremost. Even if it was just ok, it is a very fair price. However, this was exceptionally good Pad Thai! Medium heat brought a spicy sensation without it running away, the chicken was juicy and plentiful, the lime was fresh and squeezed beautifully, the to go tray was nice and hearty, I wish I lived closer as this would be a go to spot. I imagine the rest of their dishes must be just as good and am already anticipating...
