It took me some time to write this review because I wanted to be thoughtful in my words. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The owner was extremely rude, and I have to agree with a recent review posted just over a week ago—she truly should reconsider her approach to running a business.
I pride myself on being a good judge of character, and from the moment I walked in, my instincts told me something was off. She came across as very dismissive, as if what others are going through doesn’t matter. Whatever personal challenges you may be facing, they should not spill over into how you treat your customers. Kindness costs nothing.
I say this with the utmost respect. On a positive note, her husband was a pleasure to interact with—very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to outweigh the overall experience. I will not be returning.

This company is one of a kind to come by in Ohio. A black owned business by a woman is greatly appreciated but also should be considered to be history in the making. But besides that the service at anytime of day you choose to come is great. The food is also out of this world!! The job is very well done where you can just tell that the food was made like grandma’s cooking. If you don’t know what grandma’s cooking is let me explain. Grandma’s cooking was well prepared, thought of, served with time and patience and lastly love. Coach Gwen and Her Husband does an amazing job not only making sure the food is well prepared to the best of its standards but also served with a smile and kind words to send you on your way.
