My experience with the manager, Lateke:

My recent encounter at Forman Mills was disheartening. On December 31st, I visited the store, enticed by signs advertising a 50% discount on house shoes. The confusion arose when the staff, grappling with a new system, mistakenly charged my credit card the full price.

The situation worsened when, seeking a refund after three days as advised, I encountered the manager, Lateke. Despite evidence of misleading advertising, he dismissed our concerns callously, attributing the mishap to their ill-trained staff and refusing assistance.

Lateke's demeanor towards my mother was particularly unpleasant, and he adamantly refused to involve another manager. Only after reaching out to corporate did we manage to rectify the situation, with a begrudging acknowledgment from Lateke. He called us within an hour of the incident stating “I got an email from corporate and you were correct, we can offer you a refund if you bring the items and receipt.”

Customer service line was the worst experience in my life! Hands down!! I am standing in line as i type! 30 + minutes i've been standing in line watching the cashier take her good ol' time ringing up about 20 items of clothing. And she has been taking breaks to talk to the customer, actually stopping work to talk! At least continue to ring out items whilee your talking! And besides , i thought this was the customer service line? Everyone in front and behind me are just making regular purchase. There are two lines open with no one in line! Oh ... ok, she is probably scamming company ringing up half the items! Hmmm if i was to try and watch security footsge of her ringinging out ten items i would loose patience after 20 minutes. Grand opening 03-11-16!!!! Northfield Rd. Was ghetto and the cashier had an attitude out of this world! How can you be so mean & ungrateful when you were blessed with a job. This girl balled up my kids Easter suits causing them to be wrinkled after I had nicely told her not to bag them, seeing how she was crumbling and wrinkling the rest of my items! She was very unprofessional & should have never been hired for customer service! I could have jumped over that counter! But God! The next shopper may not be as nice!!!
