Red Star Diner - Temperance, MI — Restaurant in Bedford Township

Not only was my food insanely delish, but the portions are huge and the prices are almost too low for all you recieve. Let me begin by saying the service is above exceptional. Jenny was our server, and not only was she fun, kind and friendly ; she was attentive and did not miss a single step that a lot over servers tend to overlook. She made sure we had what we needed before we even knew we needed it... she will be my request for future visits! I had the chicken wrap (can't recall the exact name) - loaded with sauteed red peppers, onions, mushrooms and swiss cheese accompanied with fries. I was only able to barely finish half, my mouth wanted more but my stomach wasn't having it - lol . My mother had the liver and onions w/ mashed potatoes. I personally am not a fan, but she was more than pleased. Both of us took half of our plates to go... will be great for lunch tomorrow! Out total, including two beverages was $23 dollars. A person nowadays can not make 4 meals (since we both took half of our leftovers home) at home for that price, let alone not having the clean up. Best service, food and...

Every time we go here we get treated so well. Theres one particular waitress that weve gotten several times. I believe her name on the receipt was Amy L. Shes always very warm and friendly. She takes her time with answering any questions. She automatically will bring you things for your food that she will thinks you will need. (Creamer, water, butter, ranch, ect) Today I witnessed a random act of kindness form Amy to and elderly customer. Before leaving the table after dropping off his pancakes she stood there and opened all the small packaging like butter and jelly for him. This was without asking and to me such a sweet gesture because its hard enough for me to open those things let alone someone who doesnt have the fine motor skills they once had. We will be back!...

Good service and good food. Seated quickly. We had Phil as our waiter and he is the first waiter we’ve had in months that had done such a good job. I had my one-year-old with me and he got the high chair for her and WIPED IT DOWN. If you have kids, you know how nasty those things can get, so seeing that he took the time to have it nice and clean before she sat in it was much appreciated. He was attentive (my daughter even went to reach for a full glass of water on our table and he quickly got it out of the way before she spilled it) and pleasant. Our food came out in a timely manner and was delicious. The portion sizes were good and we had extra to take home. Good prices too. We’ll be back, and next time I’m going to get some of that good...
