Bedford Snoball — Restaurant in Bedford

Just moved to Bedford and people kept telling us we needed to try Bedford Snoball. We finally had the chance and waited in line before we saw the "Cash Only" sign. Fully intending to try Bedford Snoball today we told the gentleman at the window that we didn't know it was cash only so we would go get some cash and come back. He told us he wouldn't make us go away empty handed now that we had waited in line so he served us up our Dreamcicle and Fudgecicle and when we told him we would run to the ATM and be right back he said "No rush, you can just pay next time. You'll be back."

And he was right! We will be back! Ice cream and custard are too heavy of treats for frequent consumption - but a a creamy shaved ice was perfect and I could probably indulge 2-3 times each week without too much guilt. And it is right around the corner so I have easy access!

Update 6/20/2017: We have been back. Several times. And can't wait for the next time!

Update 6/12/2018: A year later and we still LOVE Bedford Snoball. Such a fun spot to get a nice e cool treat. Get a punch card! And biking or walking there is pretty fun, too. If you go down Gettysburg from Central you can do through the neighborhood and...

I had to come back and add to my review. It was bothering me that I didn't say enough about this place. I want to add.. I pass up 2 other snow cone stands to come to this one. They have a drive thru and no other I've seen has that. Great out door sitting for large groups and activities like corn hole and ring toss. They even had a sprinkler going for kids to run around in. Big area for kids to be kids in. The menu, where to start. I have never seen a menu like theirs. I almost go cross eyed when looking at all the different flavors and combos and even add ons. And 6 sizes to choose from. They even sale cotton candy, candy bars and other suger candies to help your kids stay up late..lol.. I'm a simple guy and I alway get cherry or grape and my wife is a brown cow fan. I did change this last visit and got Hawaiian punch. All great options. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and it has always been top notch. Since the new owners took over it has gone down hill, but definitely has the promise of picking back up. I waited 20 minutes for the car in front of me, but I understand they’re training new people so I was fine with that. I got to the window and ordered a medium Kid’s Rainbow (emphasis on the Kid’s); I was given a medium regular Rainbow. I knew it was wrong because that is literally the one of only two snow cone flavors I had ordered my whole life. I told the young girl at the window that I had received the wrong flavor and we argued for a bit as she decided to give me a nasty face. I wasn’t happy about it, but I understand that nobody wants to be told how to do their own job, especially in the food industry.
