I called to place an order for a delivery. The guy on the phone was so rude to me from the beginning. I ended up calling four times before I was able to order anything. The first phone call, I was put on hold for five minutes while hearing other customers in the background placing their orders ahead of me while I’m still waiting on the phone to place mine. Then after being on hold for five minutes, I was cut off. The second phone call I made was different. The phone rang three times before it transfer me to their voicemail box. The third phone I made was the same thing as the first phone call, putting me on hold for five minutes while still hearing other customers in the background placing their orders and then getting cut off. So then I decided to call them one last time, my four phone call. This time the guy finally ask me for my address so I can get started placing my order. I tell him, “I like to place an order for delivery” then he said, “ok, what’s the address?” I give him my address and then he says, “ok, hold please.” I’m like what? He took about almost three minutes before coming back on the phone. Then he ask me for my address again and then I place my order. After I told him what I wanted, he was going to hang up the phone before even telling me how long it would be and how much my total was. I ask him kindly enough how long and how much it was going to be and he’s responses to me was, “It’s going to take an hour and I don’t have time to give you a price. I think it’s 14 something, but like I said, I don’t have time to tell you the price” and he said this to me with such rudeness. I was completely upset after I got off the phone with him. This is why I’m giving Express Pizza in Bedford Ma ⭐️ for their customer service rating. It would have been no stars at all if it was it for their very nice delivery driver who was so kind to me...
Read moreStaff is very friendly, courteous. I highly recommend this place. I really like this place, the passion they have. Everything I've tried and my co-workers have tried have been delish!! Its a very small place with no dine in, that's how small it is. They also have a nice selection of desserts like cupcakes from Bedford Cupcakes and tiramisu, etc, btw also very yummy!! The only concern I have is that orders are never on time. They tell you a time but you need to add an extra 20 minutes (at least!) to the time they tell you will be ready ("Express Pizza it's the name!). I think the problem might be not enough staff. And making good food, word spreads, lunch time hits and boom!! The times I've been, has always been 2 or 3 staff members, and you can see they are working hard on making the orders, but you can also see they are rushing, struggling. And that is not good for any employee or business (can bring mistakes, mixup orders, incomplete orders, employees exhausted, frustrated, angry customers, etc). They told me it will take 40 minutes or less, an hour later I was still waiting And when I call them, they said there was an order ahead of mine that have to take care of it first. What the hell? What about my order? If a business promise an specific time of delivery, I spect to be delivery at the time I was told. Whom ever took my prefer was completely rude, don't know how to solve problem, don't know how to make customer satisfaction with their service. They should changed their store name from Express pizza to the slowest pizza. One more thing, if the owners read this, I just want to let you know there is plenty of pizza places that is better than yours. I order your food because it was close to work.
