So, my story starts back in August21. My husband's previous phone had the dreaded black screen. We went to this location, spoke to Andrew - he was a great salesman but that's where it stops. He put us in for a $430.00 credit for the new phone, we paid the difference...so you'd think we'd be done. Not so, credit has YET to be fully processed. Called in September, was told to wait another cycle. Went back into the store October 21, again was told to wait that it's been taking longer than normal to get credits processed. In the meantime, we're making monthly payments on said phone. Called back in November, Andrew says that he would get the person in charge of getting the credits done to push it through. I told him that we were moving and wanted everything completed before we left. Well, December....I've moved and I called again....this time some of the credit was pushed through as our Verizon bill wasn't the normal amount. I thought progress, but why didn't they just do the $430.00 as our receipt states. I called a couple of days ago and spoke to Ray. He told me that they do the credits "monthly"! WTH, in all this transaction, I was never told that they would be making monthly credit payments for my husband's phone. He told me Andrew wasn't there that day and that he would be in the Concord location today (1/14/22). I called, spoke to Andrew briefly, and he said he'd call back in 10 minutes. That was 2 hours ago. What a sham of a company. I've read all the nice reviews, but I'm thinking are they real? We certainly haven't gotten the service that everyone has rated as high. There is no follow up. If they would just do what the receipt says I wouldn't have to call them. We got ripped off and they know it. Stay away from this place. Great schmoozers is what they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were having issues with activating a new Verizon phone; after trying for 2+ hours with Verizon's online chat support (including getting abandoned by our service rep), we thought, hey, there's a Verizon store close by in Bedford; let's make the 5 minute drive to speak to a human in person who might be able to help us.
Little did we know that this establishment is not an actual Verizon store, it is a "Verizon authorized retailer." As we soon discovered, there is nothing helpful that they can actually do to support activation issues.
On the subject of "helpful": the customer service rep who was at the store was one of the most arrogant, entitled, sorry individuals I have ever encountered in a retail setting. After telling him our sob story hoping to garner a bit of empathy, this pathetic jerk had the gall to tell us that it would cost a $50 "activation fee" to complete the activation. After some clarification of our ask and a half hearted attempt at activating the phone, he said our only option was to call Verizon support... AND, that he could not make the call for us, AND that we were not allowed to make the call from inside the store.
It was pouring rain out.
The sad little man snottily told the three of us- two of whom were an elderly woman and a woman in a wheelchair- that we could go call them from our car. After incredulously asking if he was really going to make us go out IN THE POURING RAIN to make this call to support for the company whose logo was emblazoned on his store, he looked at me with an entitled smirk on his face and said "Yes."
In summary: if you want a helpful retail experience from a decent human being, do not come to this pathetic excuse for a store, so that you do not have to deal with the arrogant, power-tripping waste of life who...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNegative or zero stars is more appropriate. BEWARE and Watch out for this particular store in Bedford, MA. The sales person, Carlos, SCAMmed me out of money by blatantly lying and saying that I needed to make a deposit for my new Iphone and that I needed a new SIM card for my new phone?! He overcharged $100 extra for my phone and $40 for a SIM card that I did not need or ask for. Not to mention, changed our phone plan without communicating to me what he was doing and without my consent, just to make the sale. Ask for a paper invoice (he will quickly swipe over the invoice over an iPad) and check carefully anything you are signing. When I returned the next day to ask questions, he acted aggressive and started shouting in Spanish & English, threatening to call the police, then vanished in the back room screaming āfinal sale final saleā. Talk about unprofessional behavior. In retrospect, I should have called the police and filed a report, because he is robbing people in plain sight by lying about the price/sale policy/items sold. Store manager: please take note and use caution before you hire this type of unscrupulous person to...
