Joe Bean’s Express Espresso — Restaurant in Bedford

It used to be fairly consistent at this location but lately I’ve been receiving subpar service and drinks. Today i ordered a 20 oz latte and they made it a 16oz. I mentioned it to them and they were nice and went back to make a 20 oz but once i drive off and start drinking it, all they did was add cold milk. No additional espresso. And it was lukewarm at best. It should have been remade with 2 additional shots of espresso and steamed milk. It’s frustrating when you pay good money and spend all that time in line just to have someone not take their job seriously and make sure they’re giving the customer exactly what they’re paying for. It’s as if they think they’re gonna pull a fast one on you and that you’re not going to notice it. I would hope that isn’t the case but this is the 3rd time in a month that they’ve messed up my an order, and I’ve only been there 4-5 times in that time frame. They’re helpful when you call them and explain the issue but i shouldnt have to keep calling and wasting my time and money to go back and get the drink(s) or food they should have got right the first time. They need to have a serious meeting with the staff about quality control and not taking shortcuts at the customers expense. I’d be happy to wait a little longer for them to make it right the first time then drive away with a bad drink and a bad taste in my mouth. Really hoping they turn it around and tighten up as a crew to be more consistent in the future. The staff is generally very positive and very helpful so it’s tough to see them put out bad product and service when they’re otherwise some of the most positive people in town when it comes to customer service. I love Joe Beans & all of the coffee I get there is so yummy. They do so much customer appreciation. & they have AMAZING & YUMMY food, baked items, & smoothies. They also have bottled drinks which is extra convenient for me to be able to drive thru & grab some because I have three kids & I'm trying not to take them inside places. Their coffee for home is amazing & smooth. The barista's are always so kind & generous. They are fast & have never gotten an order wrong. Fantastic! We were just passing through Bedford and I was dying for a cup of coffee, found this little gem on Google Maps and it was right on the main road, so no detouring. The reviews looked promising and to my delight they were right! The service was friendly and swift. I got a classic Vanilla Latte but with Oatmilk and it was delicious! Way better than anything you'd get at a commercial coffee shop. I'm just sad I live so far from Bedford. Now, the only question left is an hour and a half too far to drive for a good cup...
