Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Bedford

Edit for visit made today 5/19/22. Unfortunately, the rating is still a one star. This is another local place I see going under soon. We had lunch there today and I was not impressed. First off, when you drive by, the place is just dead. It didn’t used to be like this. It used to be packed and lively! There is currently no salad bar anymore, and no buffet either. We were served bottled drinks to start, which was a turn off. Then our breadsticks came out in a to go box. Same when the pizzas came out…in boxes!!! If I wanted to finagle with boxes of pizza, I would have ordered online and taken them home. It was very difficult trying to work around two large boxes while also trying to eat. I’m surprised we at least had actual cups to put our drinks in and glass plates to eat on, and not paper plates!!! Our server was decent, but not the greatest! I did feel bad that she was cleaning tables off at opening time that hadn’t been cleaned last night before they left for the night. I heard her say at least 5 tables hadn’t been cleaned….that’s just pure laziness on someone’s part!!! Very sad to see this place in the state it’s in. Better make some changes, or they’ll be closed soon too!!

I’ve had a few issues with Pizza Hut lately. Just placed an online order and was calling the store prior to placing to check on a credit I was supposed to have on my account. I wanted to make sure they still had a record of it! The woman who answered the phone was sooooo rude. She was hateful from the time she picked up til she hung up. Don’t be hateful with me just because I don’t word things in a way you can understand! She had better be glad I was on the phone 15 mins away from her, and not face to face!! This review should get 0 stars. This occurred at approximately 4:40, August 7, 2021, Bedford, IN store. It will probably be a good while before we order from here again…if we EVER order from here again period!!! Their customer service skills are lacking to say the least. I don’t care how short handed you are, how bad a day you’ve had, or what your issue is, you don’t talk to...

I want to start off by saying the manager and the lady made the situation "right". They were pleasant and listened to our situation. Now, for the details: we ordered a box with two pan pizzas, a pasta, and cheese sticks. We drove 15 minutes there then 15 minutes back home only to realize one pizza was wrong. My husband attempted to call, reached the call center and was connected with this store. Someone answered, breathed into the phone then immediately hung up. So, back into the car and another 15 minutes there. The gent who originally took our order saw us and ignored us. That's where the lady comes in. I wish I caught her name. She took responsibility for the error and had our pizza remade. She was kind and helped remedy the situation. We were given free bread sticks for the trouble. The manager was nice and even gave us a credit towards a future visit, if we decide to come back. This was our first visit here and we're not sure if we'll be back. Service from the store was good when in person. My advice is check your orders while you're there or when the driver is still present. Of course our food was cold (except the remade pizza) and we had to reheat it in our oven at home. Bummer we couldn't have it fresh. I hope to convince my husband to try again and hopefully give a better review/update. The food...

I don't know why I bother. The service here is terrible and their pizza quality no longer meets the price. Once upon a time they were the best. Now you can't get a cheese pizza without being ripped off. Ordering a normal cheese will get you a marinara pie with a light dusting of mozzarella. Paying the extra $3.50 might get you enough cheese to be what they advertise on their normal pizzas.

Latest order was the last straw. App says ready in 15. Arrived 25 minutes later. Went in, only one person was working in the back and he was throwing things and glaring. Asked me "What?" With all the hostility when we finally made eye contact. I told him I was there to pick up my order and he said it would be another 45 minutes wait. The only other person there just stood in a cubby and ignored everyone, pretending to look busy and leaving the other guy high and dry.

I just walked out. So glad I ordered pay in store and didn't have to fight for my money back.
