Timkos Tavern — Restaurant in Bedford

Update: 11/28/2024' Thanksgiving evening! You know, although we may not be regulars, we do frequently pass by the area, when we go out in the evenings every now and again! However, tonight, the service was absolutely terrible. We sat for probably 15 minutes waiting to get service by the bartender. And it wasn't even that busy there might have been 10 people in The Establishment this evening. If I looked at me and said I'll be right with you. I said yeah I see that. Five or six minutes later, she still did not come back to service us. As she stood there and talked with all of her friends. So , we politely got up and left. Because I can spend my money somewhere else that will be more than happy and grateful to serve someone that walks in the bar, in a more polite timing. Out of all the years, we've been coming to your ba,r tonight, was absolutely the most disappointing visit ever!

This was my first visit. The atmosphere was dark and damp. Kind of gritty and grimy. Bartender was intoxicated and argumentative. I watched the Bartender charge multiple men for my drinks (which I had already paid for myself)… Not sure if this was a hustle or not… Bar owner got into a verbal argument with two female patrons because the drunk bartender charged them incorrectly. The owner told them “you don’t have to come back”… which was weird because they weren’t wrong, aggressive, or argumentative. Not sure if this was because the pair were black women but it certainly seemed as if there was an undertone. Another patron said that he has had many racist incidents here. Not sure why he...

From the second I walked into the door, I was greeted by the most amazing person I have ever met. She welcomed me and made me feel like home. The waitstaff is simply remarkable. From the smiles and laughter to the delicious food. Good time will always be had by all here. I highly recommend stopping by and sitting a spell whenever you want to get away and have some...
