Maybe I'm biased regarding our Metroparks options but as usual the atea is well maintained.

Surprisingly to us there are no picnic tables or apparently any reason to be in that specific area except to see the falls. Although you could picnic on a blanket as there is that option.

We had a difficult time locating the park as our individual, competing, cellphone GPS directions were incompatible.

There's a baseball diamond & bleachers at the end of the parking lot. We played board games in the large pavilion. I only saw 1 other picnic table next to the swings (could be more) but it was not shaded.

We observed people disappearing to & appearing from various areas therefore there must be trails & a small group disappeared with kayaks - apparently they can launch nearby. You can easily hear the river from the pavilion.

Several freight trains made their way past us - you enter the park under those...

This park is kind of weird but cool. When we initially got there I was very confused. The parkinglot had people drinking and smoking (weed) in their cars and playing music. Not a big deal but some of the people walking around didnt look like people going to see waterfalls. I though for sure we were at the wrong place. But just a quick walk into the park it turns wooded and has a cool waterfall and is worth checking out. Also there are weird dark tunnels I saw people crawling into and encouraging us to also crawl into. Im not a mole person so I declined. Overall it was is a cool park. I could be wrong but I get the vibe it is the place were teens hangout and smoke and drink at night...

This reservation features a deep gorge -- declared a National Natural Landmark -- carved out by Tinker’s Creek, with picturesque vistas and waterfalls. Mature trees and abundant wildflowers are found within its deep forests. It offers trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, as well as picnic areas and Shawnee Hills Golf Course. At over 2,200 acres, Bedford Reservation gives the appearance of a continuous forest of large trees as it was not logged due to its rugged terrain. Tinker’s Creek, the largest tributary of the Cuyahoga River. A scenic overlook along Gorge Parkway offers a...

The trail to the falls is easy, most of it paved. After the recent rains, the falls were in full force. Spring wildflowers are starting to bloom, and there were many to enjoy. My only negative is the trash that washed up along the Tinkers Creek shoreline. I guess that is to be expected for an urban park.

An interesting falls to photograph. Nice viewing platforms for views from the top. Plenty of flat rocks to get out into the stream for low views of the falls from the water. Check out the lower areas as well. Bring a walking stich to avoid falling on any slippery spots and some uneven stairs.
