I have waited years for a Peruvian, charcoal chicken place to open in bel air and boy has it been a disappointment. I Have tried this place 3 times now. The food is ehhhh. Chicken is dry , the fried rice is tasteless and the plantains are usually undercooked. The green sauce has no taste or heat. The yellow sauce is watered down to nothing. The Horchata taste like White water no taste or flavor. So disappointing
The customer service is terrible. They do not give water cups any more. Which is crazy. You have to buy a 3 dollar bottle of water. The workers are not friendly. And the place is expensive for what it is. There is a code on the bathroom also which is annoying.
The place is pretty clean for now.
I live five minutes from this place and I will now on drive to Aberdeen, which is 20 minutes from my house to get “Super Chicken Rico” suggest everyone do the same. 100x better food...
Read moreI’ve driven past this place so many times and hadn’t had a chance to check it out until this afternoon. Their menu is HUGE so I cannot speak for everything on there but I got the charbroiled chicken, white rice and the fried yuca and omg, it was so flavorful! Being Puerto Rican & from NY it’s been hard being out here in Harford county and not having many Spanish food options that don’t lean mainly towards Mexican food (and maybe I just haven’t researched much but I’ve only been here a year). Anyways, we will definitely be back and next time I’ll try some more items off the menu and even a dessert! And staff was so kind! And the place seemed very clean....
Read moreI was excited about the opening because I love peruvian chicken!! In terms of service, they are friendly and welcoming. I went during lunch time and purchased 1/4 dark with fried rice and plantains. The plantains were bomb! The rice was dry and the chicken had very little favor, which was shocking! It was like 12 -13 bucks for it. Normally when places first open up, they put their best foot forward but this isn’t the case. I would normally drive to Owings mills to get my Peruvian chicken from Miski which never disappoints in my over 5 years of being a customer. Miski is significantly better and their prices are cheaper.
I will not be returning to this...
