Tried JMC Donuts for the first time. Not a very large selection compared to other donuts shops, but was decent. Got a apple fritter was worried because in the case it appeared to be over fried/burnt. Upon tasting it was not burnt at all. Had a decent amount of apples and cinnamon. Will definitely buy this one again if I go back. Also purchased a lemon and raspberry glazed filled. They both where filled nicely. Filling in every bite. The raspberry tasted the best. The lemon was typical. Last was the strawberry glazed cake donut. 🤢 Definitely, not my type of cake glazed top donut. The strawberry glaze was good but the donut was too crispy on the outside, though moist on the inside. I'm not a fan of crispy cake donuts. Wish it had been moist all the way to the edges with a more baked type edge. I found myself picking the cake center out and leaving the over crispy edges. All in all, it was a decent experience. I paid $5.30 for 3 regular donuts and the one very large apple fritter. Another plus, all the donuts where still warm when I...
Read moreThe best donuts I've ever had. All of the classics, cake or yeast donuts, various fillings. They also have awesome breakfast sandwiches. The crescent bread is so soft, flaky, and delicious. The breakfast burrito, also the best ever, especially the Special burrito with all the meats. The steak burrito is to die for, but it's huge and better for lunch. Cute, simple little shop. Very polite people. Coffee and drink coolers filled with various milk and juices. I've shared these donuts with so many people and everyone's always asking where they're from. Many people in our area are making the switch from Old Town donuts, which is still great, but JMC takes the cake (donut). Pun...
Read moreSo the donut is good. I typically try the glaze first to make sure you can do the glaze right? You can pretty much do any donut right? And the glaze is really good. It's probably top 10 in the state so it's pretty good. I like the donut that is kind of light. It doesn't feel extra extra doughy and the glaze is pretty good. Now what I didn't like was that the orange juices extremely pricey for that small bottle, little high for three donuts and a small bottle of orange juice that was $8. That's a little much but I get it small business all that stuff. Overall in the St. Louis area. I would probably say this is probably...
