Everyone’s experience may vary, but here’s mine.

The atmosphere was pleasant with warm, inviting lighting that wasn’t too bright. A DJ was playing music, catering mostly to the female crowd with a heavy selection of twerk-friendly tracks. While that suited some, I personally would have preferred a more balanced mix to appeal to all guests.

My boyfriend and I chose to sit at the bar. While I generally find female bartenders to have less engaging attitudes, I hoped for a better experience here. Unfortunately, the bartender who served us was not particularly friendly or welcoming. When I was unsure about what to order, I would have appreciated a recommendation delivered in a warm and engaging manner. Instead, her demeanor was dry and somewhat irritable. Additionally, when I requested a Mai Tai, she admitted she didn’t know how to make it, which was understandable. However, her attitude in response to the request was not pleasant. That said, the drinks she did prepare were decent.

We also ordered food, which took over an hour to arrive—despite only ordering a six-piece wing combo with fries. While the wings were fresh, they were overwhelmingly salty, making them difficult to finish. On the other hand, the fries lacked seasoning entirely, resulting in a disappointing contrast.

Overall, my experience was just okay. I would consider returning, but I would prefer to be served by male bartenders...

The food was severely overpriced. I had the lobster tail with greens and sweet potato fries. I also had wings as an appetizer. The server never asked me how I wanted my lobster tail prepared, as there were options of fried or grilled and was overcooked. The greens tasted like something burned on the bottom of the pot. The sweet potato fries were good but the wings were small. Now for the establishment......It was very dark, lighting is an issue. This place has the nerve to automatically add the gratuity the each check, that's not a good way to do business. There are blue velvet booths for seating but a large percentage of them are torn and tattered. The seat bottom at the booth my party sat at was sliding off, which means it wasn't secured. Food was 10/10 I got turkey chops with Mac and candied yams and an extra side of greens.. saw someone on Facebook recommended this place and I’m glad I tried it ! The restaurant was beautiful for sure! If I didn’t have my baby with me I would have stayed and got a drink. I’ll definitely be back with my ladies to get some...
