Sandras — Restaurant in Belen

Horible!! Staff very unprofesionl rude. we went drive thru for two breakfast burritos with chorizo. large coke.we waited over 30 min .this is on wed bout 10:30 mind you. bill was $21. Besides the over priced food and long wait they forgot to put red chili in one of the burritos.so by the time i got home and searched thru the burrito and found no red chili i was a little upset i called the resturaunt to inform them of their mistake i was calm n cool one thing i learnd not to do is piss off people who are serving you food or your tatto artist .i was expecting to get an appolagy And a fresh burrito with chilli insted i got theres nothing we can do the cook says she put chili i told her i would take it back to show her, and that a side of red will do .after getting a clearance for the side of red she told me to make sure to bring the burrito with me .anyway i showed them the burrito, and to my face argued that there was chili in it,they were pointing at the slightly red part of the tortilla were the chorizo was. lol omg before i stormd out they gave me a one time courtisy side of red chilli .i was so happy i came home and gave it to my puppy peaches .it must be ownd by mexicans cuz i kno they would wrather be imbarressed infront of all thair customers than to give you sum free .i hope the owner reads this and...

Ordered and paid for two burritos with extra bacon… ⁉️ There was barely any bacon on both 🥺☹️

On Yelp, someone mentioned they ordered a Breakfast Burrito from here, and it was filled with Potato, very little meat.

It was a concern, but decided to try Sandra’s anyway, because the review was from 3 years ago.

I was explicit to order extra bacon to avoid having the same experience as the Yelper had…

Well, I guess there’s not much you can do! 🤷‍♀️

Good things about Sandra’s Breakfast Burritos: ☀️fresh and hot 🍅Salsa very good, it tasted fresh and homemade. 🥓the few bites of bacon which were present in the burrito were good… 🌶Green chile good 👍

Bad things: 🥔 Hash-browns were soft not crispy, some areas of the potatoes were so soft they tasted like eating mashed potatoes. 💸 the small amount of bacon… I’m not kidding it was such a small amount, you could make out a bacon bit every 4-5th bite… This was the case for both burritos.

If you like warm eggs, melted cheese, and mashed potatoes then you will LOVE...

When looking for a local restaurants for breakfast in Belen, NM Sandras came up with a five star rating and they certainly qualified for that distinction. They are located next to a Sonic with all it's typical Sonic see it everywhere deco and their food and service outshine anything the franchise can do. We judge a good restaurant on how many locals are there. The drive-thru was packed and we were lucky to get a proper socially distanced table. I had their New Mexican omelette covered in the most delicious red sauce I have had. It was a mouth watering...
