Anna Becker Park — Attraction in Belen

This park has been fixed up nicely. There are plenty of benches, trash cans and picnic tables there. There is a play area for the kids and swings to enjoy. There is even a small area for a bigger amount of people to sit and eat together for a birthday party or something like that. There is a gazebo stage area, although small, is still really nice. The park is about an acre and a half in size. It is bordered on three sides with houses and a Main Street on the other. I like Anna Becket Park, especially during Farmer's Market. It is a nice clean park. The community takes pride in it for the most part. It has a nice gazebo, as well as a play area for the kids. My husband and I have been coming here for 5 years and it’s been going down as the years pass. The lights on/ near the sidewalks don’t light up. The police are more concerned about us walking our dogs than the people who are selling drugs along the street. Trash through out the park. Homeless people are there also. Something...
