I recently visited during my trip and unfortunately, it left me with mixed feelings. While the coffee was enjoyable, the overall experience was marred by exceptionally slow service and mediocre food. Let’s start with positive point, coffee is good. However, the negatives overshadowed this small victory. The service here was, without a doubt, the slowest I have experienced in recent memory. To receive my ordered food, I endured an agonizing wait of nearly 40 min. As a first stop on my trip, this was undoubtedly an unfortunate choice. The extended wait time significantly impacted my overall impression of the restaurant. To make matters worse, the food itself was nothing more than average. While it didn't venture into the realm of culinary disaster, it also failed to impress. The dishes lacked innovation and were rather forgettable. Considering the extended wait, the underwhelming taste of the food only added to my overall disappointment. In conclusion, my first impression was far from stellar. Slow service, average food, and a noteworthy delay in receiving our meals left me with mixed feelings. While the coffee was a saving grace, it's difficult to overlook the flaws that tainted my visit.

First time here so ordered a classic Cubano. It was good. Lacking meat, not super flavorful, but not bad. Inexpensive. Unfortunately the service was a bummer. They straight up forgot I was there. Went in and was told to choose any seat and they'd be right over. One other restaurant patron. (Two other people were at the counter who seemed to be doing paperwork for the restaurant at the bar--maybe owner and chef?) The layout is like a long hallway, and I chose a table near the back. I was in line of sight of the two workers at the bar. No one came over after 15 minutes so I just walked to the front and ordered something to go. Not good if you are in a rush. Not a destination, more like "the door is open and I have $10 in my pocket" kind of thing. Would spend it on the coffee.

We stayed in Belgrade for a week, and Cafe Havana was recommended to us by our lovely AirBnB hostess. We walked over for breakfast one morning, and it was so delightful!! The process were very reasonable. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was sweet and prompt on taking our order. I ordered the tacos, and they were tasty. Definitely order the Cuban coffee! My guy ordered the Cuban Sandwich and OMG, I dare say it was much, much better than the one I had in Miami! My guy wants to order several to take home to TX before our flight back home. šŸ˜†

Cafe Havana was such a refreshing surprise. We stopped in while passing through and ended up having one of the coziest, most satisfying meals of our trip. The vibe inside is warm and artsy—colorful walls, eclectic decor, and a super relaxed energy that instantly makes you feel at home.

I ordered the huevos rancheros and was seriously impressed. The flavors were bold and balanced, with just the right amount of spice—comforting without being too heavy. We also tried the soup of the day, which was homemade and packed with flavor. It felt like something your favorite aunt would make on a chilly afternoon. And the cappuccino? Absolutely perfect. Smooth, rich, and strong with that lovely little foam heart on top—exactly what I needed after a long morning on the road.

The service was friendly and low-key, and we never felt rushed. The pace, the setting, and the food all worked together to create a genuinely relaxing experience. Everything felt thoughtful and unpretentious, which is hard to come by these days.

If you’re ever in the area and looking for a cozy, delicious stop with good energy and satisfying food, Cafe Havana is 100% worth it. We’ll...

While visiting family, we tried this cafe. The staff are efficient and fun, very friendly. I am baffled by any of the reviews that are negative— our family are all foodies (we travel a lot internationally) and we thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. For the reviewer who was negative about the cafe’s food flavor and slowness of service….maybe the bulk of their dining experiences have come through the fast food lines and their pallet is ruined? This easily rivaled any of the Bozeman cafes! The ingredients were fresh, spices flavorful and well balanced. Presentation was clean and attractive. Of particular note is the green chili pork with the homemade tortillas and the tomato soup. I was making happy humming noises as I enjoyed it! 😁 We are making this place a habit when we visit. There also some very beautiful local art display that really contributed to a warm and...
