McIntosh's Pub & Grub — Restaurant in Bellbrook

We have been going here for years with large groups. Everything was great, the food and service was great. Recently that has all changed. The service is terrible and the food has changed. Menu items are not cooked the same and the wait staff which is usually one person is overwhelmed and snarky. When a waitress tells people “you need to move to the front room cause I’m not walking to the back room for little tips”….that is beyond a problem and this was told to children. The only reason it’s a one star is because everyone is struggling for workers but the service, the food quality and the horrible wait times deserve it. Order a pizza and be ready to wait over an hour with no drinks and for a pizza that is essentially a frozen pizza crust with ketchup on it. Lots of other choices in the area that offer better quality food and service. Pass this...

First visit. Date night with my wife. The place was at capacity. The guy up front met me with a smile, said we had a 30 minute wait, not bad for a walk in on Friday night at 7pm. I put in my number and got a text about 30 minutes later. The waitress had our drinks out immediately, strawberry lemonade and house wheat beer, both were very good. The menu was huge 10+ pages. We agreed on crispy zucchini straws, BJ's ribeye cooked medium with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The serving sizes are huge. It started with the zucchini straws, hot crispy and wonderful. Next came the steak, it was cooked perfectly warm pink center, juicy and huge 14oz. The potatoes were creamy slightly lumpy. The asparagus were crisp slightly under cooked, had great slightly spicy seasoning. I should have taken some pictures, but I was on a date and the phone stays...

Place was way to loud, on the up side for once there weren't a bunch of children running around ( I can't understand parents bringing their children to a bar at all!) Ordered a daiquiri - they couldn't make one, ordered a pina colada- they couldn't make me one. Said they didn't have a machine anymore to make those drinks....told me they didn't get enough orders for those drinks anymore - ( It's a bar for Petes sake!) Offered to make me a margarita.. I don't like margaritas. Ended up with a beer...not my choice of drink but whatever. Food was good although it took quite a bit to finally get it to us, which is surprising because it wasn't really very busy in there. Waitress was nice but not dressed what I would expect. Way to casual - like she just got up and put on old...
