When I moved from Seattle to Belle Fourche, I was worried that I'd have to give up delicious artisan baked goods...but surprise, 8th Ave Bakery truly is the best of the best, with absolute top tier sweet and savory treats, to rival those in any major metropolitan area. From your classic donuts, to amazing croissants, exquisite danishes, and non-sweets like their ham and cheese pastries and quiches...you just cannot go wrong. Plus the prices are very reasonable and they rotate unique flavors often. What a gem to have...

This was hands down the best bakery I’ve been to. I had the cherry cobbler cruffin which was unique and delicious. The chocolate chip cookie was different than your standard chocolate chip cookie and was fantastic. The place had a fun, artsy design and you can tell it was designed with love. If I lived here, I would be here every Friday and Saturday! There’s also a coffee shop directly behind the bakery. This bakery also bakes during the week for the coffee shop in town and a few places in Spearfish...

This bakery use to be great, but we stopped in Saturday morning at 7:30am to get some doughnuts for a relative who just has a life changing surgery. Thankfully my son got one for himself and told me they were all hard as rocks before we gifted them. It was a huge disappointment. I get times are tough and maybe they were selling old doughnuts, but these were beyond old. So hard someone could chip a tooth...
