I called Mackās chicken on Chambers in St. Louis, Mo. and ordered chicken for the school district on Jan 14, 2020. They told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived 20minutes later to pick up order, it wasnāt ready and I had to wait an additional 20 minutes or more before receiving my order. Without me saying anything for the inconvenience, Mack the owner offered me a chicken and waffle dinner, but I informed him that I donāt eat bread, so I said, āCan you just some extra chicken.ā He said, sure. Iāll have them throw in 3 or 4 extra wings.ā Then I said, āThank you you.ā After arriving back at the school, I opened the bag to find that there was NO additional chicken added for the inconvenience of missing my entire break. I politely called to inform them of the mishap. Lady manager went to ask the cooks about it and they implied, that Mack didnāt tell them about it and he was No longer there for them to ask him. She asked me to call back in a bit. So thatās what I did. He was still not there. So I called back the next morning and spoke with Mack regarding the mishap and he bluntly said his cook and his cook assistant did put it in the bag. Anyone that knows me, knows I have great integrity about myself and wouldnāt make this up for 3 or 4 chicken wings, but since that is what you did tell me, I felt it should have been honored and thatās the only reason I called to find out what happened. When I spoke with Mack, he was very unprofessional, Unapologetic and very rude. As I tried to explain the situation to him, he said, ā Iām very busy. I donāt have time for this. My head cook and his assistant says they put it in the bag.ā So now you are calling me a liar. My household, family and job spends a lot of money at Mackās although the food is good, they have always been rude and unprofessional. But this particular time I thought it would be a pleasant call of just come get what I told you I would give you. Itās very hard trying to Patronize areas that just donāt hold up to being kind and their word being bond to people. I will NO longer patronize companies that are rude and disrespectful to me and my money. And I pray you do the same. Itās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had by far the worst experience at Mackās chicken today. Iām visiting from out of town and wanted to grab something that I used to eat while I lived in STL. Long story short I paid 22.08 for a 8 piece mixed mealthat included 2 sides and bread . I waited 20 mintues and when I returned back to my hotel they gave me the wrong order which was only 8 wings and bread. I called back and he admitted that they gave me the wrong order as mine was still sitting in the warmer. I told him I can have someone pick up my correct order since Iām out of that area now and he said whoever comes to pick it up needs to bring the wrong order back so they can write of off. There is no way for me to do that as Iām already back across town and I have a flight to catch to go back home. Iām so disappointed about this and unfortunately this will be my last time...

I don't know who the gentleman was that answered but he spoke like he was foreign. He proceeded to immediately snap back about the ad being false directly after I inquired about it, then after about a two min exchange of going back & fourth with me about the ad which I tried to explain I was only asking about, he hung up the phone in my face. How very unprofessional, rude & insulting. I will be sure to blog about this establishment when I return home and warn all of my colleagues to avoid this establishment by any & all means.
