Directly on West Main, Fletchers is an upscale bar and restaurant. Not too upscale but definitely not a dive. Dark wood, beautiful leather or vinyl booth seats in red. Tables in the middle. Plenty of room to move. We were there at 7:30 on a Tuesday night and there was a full bar with several tables but no wait. Noise level was not too high from the bar. Tables and booths are provided. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was good. Music coming from bar and the typical clink of silver and glasses. We received our food quickly. Had pork rinds for appetizer and they literally sizzled for quite awhile. Two dips provided. Hot wing Sauce (which was excellent). Ranch sauce which was a very good ranch sauce. The hamburger was 1/2 pound which is more than I can eat. Grilled with fresh vegetables and a unique bun which was strong enough to hold up to a 1/2 pound burger. Steak fries were excellent as was the chicken sandwich. Both had tomato, lettuce, and onion and came with one side. Choices included steak fries, broccoli, soup, mashed potatoes, beets, zucchini, sweet potato fries and more. Parking lot was flat and paved. Little tight when full. Handicap spots near door. Restrooms were clean and handicap. Nice place if you’re in town. Wouldn’t drive hours to get there though

Finally decided to give a 2nd try but this time take out. I arrived and stood watching hostess go by me 4 times without saying a word. She was busy trying to move a customer where a tv was working for him. She could have said " I will be right you" told her I was getting a take out, I was told to go to bar. Bartender asked what I needed, told her take out for Becky, she mumbled something and went and waited on others. I left , Becky went in, I was going to leave. She had same lousy service but got our meal. I got Fredo pasta. See picture of my Food for $10. Guess Fredo was a very skinny hungry man. Too expensive for rude slow service and a snack. I am done. 1st trip Food was okay. I hate paying for just okay, when paying high prices. Service was slow. I hate when server tells you that the wait is because of the kitchen being slammed. Told us at least three times. Bring us chips or something. Biggest complaint is charging extra for a slice of bread and onions. See picture of ticket I added. Seriously what restaurant charges for extra onions? Thought I was was ordering a special whiskey cocktail and it ended up being a $6 beer.

This was terrible. Sent the first market price aged kc strip back because it had tendons running in each direction and it was very tough. i ordered it medium rare it was cooked as such. They returned with a thin charred steak. Sorry i ordered steak here and extremely disappointed. And i didn't ask to replace it, they offered to replace it and then obviously they took offense to it being returned and sent me a very poor replacement that was charred on one side (the side they delivered down) as you can see in the picture. That is definitely not medium rare. I guess i should have just eaten around the tendons and called it a night.

First visit after living down the street for a few months and, never seeing this parking lot empty; now I know why. From: the decor, to the staff, to the clientele, I expected to be happy paying $30 a plate, $50 a head; this is the feeling I had walking from my car to my table. The feeling continued even after I opened my menu and found I should expect closer to $20/pp and $27/ph experience. Their staff to clientele ratio seemed off and, that was the only thing that made my experience less than top shelf. I ordered my servers favorite sandwich and, I'm not even going to tell you what it was, because, it won't matter; order what looks good and, enjoy a wonderfully prepared meal. There were three of us that evening and, I tried everything on the table with a standing need for self control, for gluttony was trying to seize me the entire time (I wanted to wolf this all down so badly). The drinks were fun and, flavorful. The dark wood and leather everywhere I looked, was inviting. The few TVs smattered strategically were easy to look at and, easy to ignore (which is something that is very hard for me to do, ADHD) and, in many ways something that makes this a particularly awesome watering hole; which, as it turns out, is also a spectacular restaurant. One other and, myself, did return for coffee and dessert later that same evening and, the server remembered our names and, provided us with some of the best coffee I've had in quite some time, served with a little pitcher of chilled heavy cream; divine! They only have two deserts and, they don't need a single other thing on that menu; home run, either way. I really did have a splendid time with, Fletcher's Kitchen & Tap and, I hope to return again and again. Frank, you are not the reason this is not a 5! However, the sheer amount of @$$ you had to bust to give us the service you did was; disconcerting (partially, because, it would have been nice to feel less rushed (not by you but, by my having been a server and, still being observant). All that was to say, "Dude, you are amazing! Thank you again for your time...

Late night take out-5min to kitchen closing Which I really rarely ever do but desperate times call for desperate measures ...so 5 minutes to kitchen closing I call for a Togo & this bartender couldn't have made me feel any less rushed in my ordering he kept reiterating to take my time that I was fine, made me feel a lot more comfortable placing the order and then never made me feel bad about it Or annoyed or that I was being inconsiderate etc to me that went a long way. Thus my over 20%tip on a $60order reflected my respect and appreciation for this service ( HEY SERVICE INDUSTRY THIS IS HOW ITS ACTUALLY DONE & HOW YOU MAKE GOOD MONEY!) even when I came he was so genuine and kind and Accommodating 30 minutes after the kitchen was closed I jokingly asked if he could add on 2 desserts togo and he did so happily As he totally understood being in the business of making money means making sales it seems like such a simple concept yet time and time again I'm seeing less and less evidence of people understanding this So props to the service of this place and to management for setting the example of this type of service & accountability...I feel As though it's becoming less and less common, a lost concept in society to see individuals in the customer service profession actually be of service,be perfessional and take pride in what they do! So when I do witness it I firmly believe, it needs to be recognized!

The food-VERY DELICIOUS! Even at 5 minutes till close not a single thing about my entire order seemed rushed or overlooked due to closing time of the kitchen so perhaps to the kitchen staff as well because I know you are wanting to get out of there because I've been in your shoes...

Fletcher's Belleville is one of my favorite restaurants for many reasons. Besides being one of the few "sit-down" establishments in the west end, they have a perfectly sized offering of menu options to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. Most meats are smoked daily, steaks and other items finish on a wood fire grill, the burgers are some of the best you'll have. They run daily chef's specials for more variety and have a good selection of appetizers, pizzas and sandwiches as well. The fries are second to none. Most special diets should be able to fairly easily find a full meal of satisfaction, not leaving vegans and others picking off of the side items like at many places. Do not be fooled into thinking this is your average neon light, pool table, bud light rice bar! The food is the focus here. Although every business has struggled with staff to some degree or another in recent years, the overwhelming majority of my experiences have had, at a minimum, good server availability and entirely satisfactory kitchen times. Most of the time, you can expect exemplary service from a very dedicated core group of staff who really know their stuff. At regular meal times, the place is usually busy, often packed, but I've rarely waited for a table for 2-4. The bar usually has a few seats available otherwise. The restaurant has another location in Swansea on the east side of Belleville limits, but my experiences have always been better at the original location. (This one) One final note, both the brownies and bread pudding are...
