I order the food online. We waited over an hour and a half and I called to check the status of the order. Was told they never got the order. I explained it was charged to my credit card. They tell me the bank will reverse the order because on their end it was not put through probably because the credit card number was put wrong. I told them that didn’t make sense as it wouldn’t I have been process if it had not been put in correctly. At this point they are arguing with me, telling me that it’s impossible because they don’t have the order at all.

I decide to go in person they once again tell me that even though it’s showing in my credit card as charge that because it says “pending” must mean that the order number never went through.

I tell them that I’ll make a smaller order than the original one I had made it and I’ll charge it a separate card and then I’ll call the Bank and make sure that they cancel the previous charge. They agreed that this would work

The manager comes as am calling the bank and tells me they found the original order that I placed online and that she is going to complete the original that was for $115. Then she tells me they’re going to cancel the lesser order I just made which was $90. I’m Dumb enough to agree I take the bag of food that they gave me to find out that they didn’t give me all of the food. The stole me out of 20 worth of food.

On top of it all I had order a skirt steaks medium well. They were burned and aweful. I am sharing a picture of them.

I didn’t even bother calling. I have no intentions of returning. It’s a loss and am moving on. I am only posting this to help others not find themselves in the same situation. I bought a red snapper from this restaurant, the Belleville location, and I ordered it to go. I ate here a couple of times before but it was inside and my food tasted pretty decent. As soon as I ordered the food to go I received a very hard fried red snapper, I couldn't even cut it with the plastic knife they provided! So, I immediately went all the way back to the restaurant (the red snapper was still hot) to without one bite bitten off of it and asked for them to provide me with another red snapper and showed why with their own utensils. The waitress, Sara, said ok and walked to a woman and man that was sitting down in the regular area to show and I'm assuming to inform what my complaint was. I saw the female touching the salmon and so I walked over and stated to them all do you see this hard red snapper I eat red snapper along with a lot of other foods so I know this should not be hard like this, and I displayed to them. The man who was there stated this is house the red snapper is cooked and broke a piece and said see its soft on the inside. I stated after he had to break it with his hands that's not soft inside and that's not how it is supposed to be. When I noticed they was not replacing my food after showing my receipt of just spending $40.02 there, I said ok no problem I will write a review! I am very greedy and I dont remember ever a time where I got disrespectful service as such! I felt they should have replaced my food so now my dinner was just the salad especially after I have not eaten all day due to me being on a diet and I am not able to afford to buy any other food! First time here. I'm from Hackensack.

Food was subpar. The sweet plantains were hard and over cooked. The meat was ok. Smallest piece of skirt steak I've ever seen on my plate. Lmfaooo I'm Colombian, and small hole in the wall restaurants give you bigger cuts of steak than this. Just see the pics. Drinks ok. Nothing spectacular. Service was meh, he didn't offer us to see options on the cocktail menu, we had to pry the answers out of his mouth like pulling teeth. I was upset because we ordered a specific drink (Pitbull) with many options and this man just gives us a double beer when we could have had a pitbull with a beer and a shot or a a myx wine. How am i supposed to know what they offer?

What upsets us more than anything is that there's an automatic gratuity of 15%. That used to be only applied to parties of 5 or more but here we are. Just because we used a credit card to pay. Makes no sense... And then on top of that, they already charge "credit" prices vs "cash" prices on the menu. The audacity is wild.

Tips are based on service, not method of payment. Now waiters aren't going to put in effort because they know there's a guaranteed tip. What is that about?

If i had to say one nice thing: The singer they had was INCREDIBLE. sad thing is he didn't even have a proper stage, he was on the corner of some sad hostess desk and i had to walk past him just to go to the bathroom. How tacky.

I've been to every other noches de colombia. This one ranks almost below the montclair location because they don't serve alcohol because the town won't let them, they're dead last.
