I ordered through the Slice app for delivery. I ordered a Tomato & Basil pizza, but it was missing the fresh sliced tomatoes & mozzarella cheese. I called the restaurant versus lodging a complaint on the app. The first young lady wasn’t sure what to do, so she put me on the phone with a gentleman who told me that they would remake my pizza, but I would have to pick it up (it was after 5pm & they close at 6pm). I agreed to pick up my remade pizza.
We had also ordered a cheese pizza w/sausage for my brother’s family. That pizza was made correctly.
A few minutes later, a young lady called back and asked me to bring back the whole pizza. I said that we had eaten a couple of slices already because we were hungry. She proceeded to say that they could not make us a “free” pizza if I could not return the old pizza that was made incorrectly. I told her that I would talk to her in person when I got there. Who ever heard of a place asking for the food made in error back. 👀
Anyway, I get there and they immediately know that it was me because I have the box of pizza (missing 2 slices) in my hands. They start talking to each other about me in Spanish. They don’t know that I understand Spanish.
I proceed to talk to them about the fact that the pizza needs to be remade correctly. I show them the pizza. The young lady who called me is there, but I had to ask who it was before she would tell me that she was the one who called me. So they tell the pizza maker to make my pizza. Then they proceed to talk unkindly about me in Spanish not knowing that I capfuls understand EVERYTHING that they were saying.
I asked the young lady why did she call me to tell me to bring back the pizza made incorrectly. She said that she called the “top boss” after the gentleman told me that my pizza would be remade and that he told her to call me and tell me that I had to bring the pizza made in error. 🤦🏽♀️
So I get the pizza. I did not look that good. I speak to the gentleman that delivered the other pizza. Then I recounted the whole situation to him in Spanish so that they would know that I understood & knew EVERYTHING that they were talking about so that they would know not to EVER do that again.
I get the pizza home. It’s terrible. Hardly any sauce, barely any cheese, hardly any flavor.
I will NOT be ordering from...
Read moreAfter running a few errands, I stopped inside of Roberto's to get something to eat. I walked in and went to the counter, ready to place my order, I already knew exactly what I wanted. There were two Spanish ladies behind the counter, one who's always there as the cashier, and another who I'm guessing was a worker. The one who's the cashier, has the nastiest disposition ever, very unwelcoming, and seems as if we the people forced her to work in a pizza shop. As I'm standing at the counter, waiting to be acknowledged by the cashier to take my order, both of the Spanish women continued their conversation as if I was a damn ghost. So I stood there looking at them both for 2 minutes, as if I was getting the latest Telanovela gossip, and they still never acknowledged me. So I then gathered my things and walked out, STILL, no acknowledgement. Instead I ended up going to McDonald's across the parking lot. Now did I want McDonald's, absolutely not, but I refuse to spend my hard earned money in an establishment that has horrible customer service. Who ever is in charge of HR at Roberto's needs to...
Read moreNot impressed at all. Expensive, ($2.00 for Xtra cheese, PER SLICE!! So 1 slice with extra cheese comes in at $4.00 ). They also got order wrong. We ordered 2 extra cheese and they made and charged for 2 cheese and 1 plain. That's why it was nearly $10 bucks for two (3 I guess) slices. No drinks. Oh well. Moving on, the slices were OK.... Just.... OK. It was pizza if you were looking for any pizza, but if you are looking for decent pizza, go elsewhere. Lots of dough flavor, not so much pizza flavor. Cheese was ABSOLUTELY a ripoff (at $2). It was more of an extra sprinkle rather than a cheesy slice. The restaurant was at least clean, but the bathroom is halfway to a rest stop bathroom. At least it was mostly clean, though I wouldn't sit in it or do more than wash my hands. I'd rather hold it (and I'm a dude)
Overall, don't think I'll be coming back here ever again. Not even worth a...
