Horrible professionalism and customer service from management. I’ve ordered from this restaurant for years with minor incidents. Maybe once or twice they sent the wrong order. However, recently I placed an order for delivery and when the driver arrived I immediately noticed that on the receipt said “crab”. I’m allergic to shellfish so I told the driver that he had the wrong order. He had such a bad attitude and told me that he was just the driver and to call the store so I declined the order being that I can’t eat crab or any other shellfish and called the store. The person that answered the phone was very nice and assured me that the name of the dish was crab something and that it was just the name and it was in fact cheese wontons which I ordered in addition to my main meal... but how was I suppose to know that? Anyway. They refused to redeliver my food and a few days later when I tried to order again, apparently there was a note in the system that said that they were not to deliver to me. I can only order through Uber eats and some other food app. No THANK YOU! Instead of the manager calling to find out what happened he just went solely based on what the driver said. I guess I was not a valued customer. I’m good enough for you to take my money but not good enough for you to deliver my food?

I was so appalled at this entire situation that I just had to post on both google and yelp and I will also post on Uber eats about my experience but I was even more appalled at the owner’s response. First on yelp about the driver not being tipped, even though I did not accept the food and then he went on about drivers quitting weekly and he had to throw out my order. It was more like he was upset that he just lost $21. Lets be clear I did not cancel the order, I did not accept it because just before signing my copy of the receipt, I noticed that my order said crab. Again, I’m allergic to shellfish sir. Not just a little allergic but allergic to the point where I can die! I have to always have an epipen. So being that I have this allergy I did not accept the order. For the 3rd time, I did not order anything with crab and if this was just some type of confusion with the name on your menu then that is not my fault...maybe you should update/change the name to reflect what the actual item is. I immediately called to inquire about what just transpired and at that point after the employee put me on hold, I was told that crab was just in the name but there was no actual crab in what I ordered. Didn’t think “cheese wontons” would have the name “crab” in its name. I’ve been ordering from your restaurant for years and have never had an issue so you should have immediately called and got some type of clarification as to what happened and what was my reason for not accepting the order (MANAGEMENT 101). Instead you let your emotions get the best of you over $21 and flagged me for having a medical condition and being cautious about what I eat... more like discriminating. Even your employee agreed that my account should not have been flagged after I explained the situation and he even tried to explain it to you but you didn’t even want to to hear him out. An effective leader/manager would’ve came on the phone and at least spoken to the customer, so please don’t try to fool anyone reading these reviews to make it seem as if you were so concerned and tried everything to be fair. You did the exact opposite. Check your records and see how much money I’ve spent at your business over the years. To be quite honest you seem very undeserving of my business and for all the above reasons I gave you a one star. If possible, I would give you a worse rating. In my opinion you’re unprofessional, unfair and I can almost guarantee your drivers quitting have a lot to do with your style...

I placed an order for lunch letting the young man that took my order that previously my daughter and I had been there and order pork friend rice(seafood allergy). When we got home I received a pint of shrimp fried rice called back they apologized and prepared another order. Picked it up came home and shrimp fried rice. We called back to receive more apologies was told we could come back but we passed. Was told they would credit the amount to the phone number. So told the young advised there was no credit linked to the number as a matter of fact there was no record of us ever ordering from this establishment but he did advise I could speak to the manager when I came to pick up my order. Apparently he spoke with some else who tried to get the manager I believe she said his name was Mike address the issue but his response was he was not hearing this. So I asked to speak with the manager and when the young lady came back she said his response was “I am too busy” and he refused to address the matter. For the record it is not the amount it would have cost with or without the credit that was due to us but the fact that you think you are too busy to address a customer’s concerns. You were not on busy when you gave me the wrong order no one time but two times and I was patient and understanding even when you gave me something I was allergic to. #1 Chinese Kitchen you suck or should I say Mike. I think Ibny for not exercising the ability of assisting a customer when the food was wrong. They took 2 minutes and placed me on hold to check the cameras to tell me that they put the correct food in my order. I have a picture to show that I got a quart and not a large. It was an insult to my intelligence as a consumer. They have gotten 2 orders wrong in the last month. Prior to this they missed two Aquafina bottles that I purchased. They credit me but when I called the following week to make another order they asked me to verify why I got the $4 credit for and if I remembered who completed the order. I paid for what they consider a “large” on this specific order what I would pay if I were to call them directly. No accommodation. As a consumer I respect business and the hard work they display but when they place me on hold to “check cameras” to see if they dropped off the correct order and you know it’s not is an insult to my intelligence as a consumer. Ibny also told me that I can go and check the cameras myself. I was yeah sure and I’ll send you the small package that I got with my food. In the middle of a snowstorm.
