If you're having dessert problems... I feel bad for you, son... I got 99 problems, but finding the BEST CHEESECAKE ain't one!!!

How did I not know about this awesomeness?! Seriously!! Somebody should have told me that for forever and a day, I've been missing out on these sinfully delicious & awesomely delectable desserts being served up at Shi's Cakes & Things!!

If you're considering placing an order here and maybe you're bit skeptical... DON'T BE!! Don't block your blessings, Kings and Queens... YOU DESERVE GREAT THINGS!!! STOP THINKING and PLACE THAT ORDER NOW!!! Be a BLESSING to YOURSELF...Every second you spend pondering are precious seconds that could be spent taking your tastebuds to the stars and to the moon via that unbelievably irresistible Strawberry Cheesecake! I swear that CHEESECAKE is EVERYTHANG!!!

I GOTS to let the whole WORLD know... and especially all my folks in The Garden State! The people of northern New Jersey REALLY need to know that we have THE BEST CHEESECAKE in the WORLD right here in our own backyard!

I feel blessed... I don't even like Juniors no more... and Cheesecake Factory needs to change their WHOLE name because what they have isn't even worthy of being called cheesecake after what I tasted tonight from Shi's Cakes & Things!!

... I want to cry real tears about that cheesecake... I am truly blessed and highly favored to have discovered this spot.... and the owner is such a professional and just a sweetheart. The customer service is off the charts too! This is truly one of those rare times when the product is HIGH-LEVEL, and the SERVICE matches that energy! Bravo!!! This was my first time but I'm a loyalist...

Shi’s Cakes’ Coffeehouse is now located at 85 Franklin Street, Belleville (directly across from the Newark Light Rail Station, Grove Street).

🍰 All of the homemade cheesecake cups are amazing, unique, and delicious*

The cheesecakes offerings are made in-house by the staff along with other desserts. They are all super-rich, creamy, and well-known top-sellers locally.

🍋 The artisanal lemonades are so good! They serve unique Lulu’s Lemonade from a local Montclair brand.

I tried the Pineapple Ginger brew and it was SO good… they had others too!

Please stop in, this owner is so nice and warm. Grab a cup to go as you head down to Newark Penn Station or sit and hang for a while with free Wi-Fi.

We picked up some of these sweet goodies in a Farmer’s Market. In our haul was Gluten Free Banana bread, Peaches ‘N Cream Cheese Cake jar, Fried Apple Cheese Cake jar, and Banana Pudding! All were expertly made and DELICIOUS!! I would definitely recommend Shi’s...

The baked goods and food here are great, and the pricing is fair. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for dessert, or just want to randomly visit a bakery/grab some coffee on the way home!

We were greeted by the owner/manager. She was very friendly, charming, professional, knowledgeable and respectful! She gave us good recommendations without being pushy, and also gave us helpful baking tips.
