Disappointed by Rude Service Despite Being a Loyal Customer

I usually love coming to this restaurant and the juice bar, it’s been one of my favorite places for a long time. Unfortunately, today’s visit was disappointing.

When I asked what kind of soup was available, the server told me “chicken and hen.” I was confused and politely asked for clarification. Instead of a simple explanation, the server became visibly irritated, flapped her arms like wings, and repeated “hen.” Thankfully, another customer who spoke both languages stepped in to clarify that she meant turkey.

What upset me most wasn’t the misunderstanding, it was that the server continued discussing the incident with other customers and displayed aggressive behavior toward me. All I wanted to know was whether the soup contained pork or beef, and I didn’t expect to be mocked or made to feel uncomfortable.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously. I’ve always appreciated the food and atmosphere here, but respectful service is just as important...

I initially was heading to Tropical Juice bar in newark for my usual patacon w/burger meat and lime juice. Then I noticed that Caribbean Station was open next door.

Caribbean Station has Dominican style restaurant options while Tropical Juice Bar has smoothies, juices and more grab go focused items such as empanadas etc.

The atmosphere is good. Both have friendly staff and are very clean in case you want to eat in.

There is usually parking if you plan to stay.

I was greeted by Pablo (the head chef) he also took my order and served up stew chicken over white rice with red beans. (Good flavors)

Jerson, who is the marketing manager was also there and offered to let me try a few other items off of the menu considering this was their soft opening. My next items were pepper steak and mangu which were also very tasty.

My first experience at this new spot was a good one and I’m expecting it to follow the path of juice...

Never been here before we wanted some breakfast so we decided to check them out. We walked in place looked clean, nice. We walked in and the employee saw us from the kitchen walked out towards us then walked back into the kitchen and we stood standing there for about 5 mins . No welcoming just let us stand there. We wanted to support but they’re so rude not even acknowledging us. Blasting bad bunny like it’s a club it’s 9 in the morning. Def won’t be coming or supporting anyone who sees customers and just...
