This is a great business with an amazing owner behind the operation. I found Wildflour by accident while having dinner at âthe barking frogâ in Woodenville and exploring their delicious gluten free bread as an appetizer. I was shocked to find such amazing flavor and texture in their gluten free bread. After asking our server âis this bread made here? Where is this from? Where can I buy some?â we were told about Wildflour. Now we live about 45 minutes south of Wildflour but had to plan an adventure to see what other products this company offers. Upon arriving we saw a gentleman busy loading a truck as it appeared. We said good morning and continued in the establishment and the same gentleman immediately appeared in the shop to greet us once again. That is where we met Jay, who is extremely passionate about the company telling us all the stories and giving us so much of his time to share the joy of the business. We purchased pasta, bread, cinnamon rolls, pizza, and biscuits! I can not wait to cook with all of their products and have company over for gluten free pasta with their bread and a bottle of wine! Thank you for the pleasant experience Jay!!! Let us know when you open a location down south! Until then I will have to make more trips because the product and service is absolutely worth the time and...
Read moreJust about everything is frozen (which is understandable given how quickly GF stuff goes bad) however don't plan to come here to grab much in the way of items for a brunch the same morning. Otherwise, there is quite a variety of items and the couple I tried were pretty good. The freezer could really do with some labels on the outside, otherwise you just have to stand there holding the door open and rifling through stuff to see what they have, especially if you've never been before. I also heard they are changing their name from the cute "WildFlour" to "I Cant Believe It's Bread" and I think it's a poor choice that they should've done a focus group on before deciding. First one is cute, whimsical, gives you the idea it's a bakery, etc... new name is off-putting, an entire sentence, and associates it with hydrogenated vegetable oils that Big Food marketed as a health product to sell secondary processing products decades agođ¤ˇđźââď¸ A six pack of muffins will...
Read moreHeard about this place from my awesome doctor. Anyway, drive here from Seattle, easily missed place off of Northup, but I'm glad I found it. Not a bakery like we've become accustomed. Don't expect coffee, just a simple baker and a shop. No place to sit down [yet]. Lots of selection. Bought almost one of everything. So far, cinnamon bun... forgot I was gluten free for a moment. Baguette for a party later, lemon poppy seed loaf that I'll cut and freeze. All her products are freezer tested. Must resist the urge to eat the other four pastries. I've got all weekend. (Ziplock bagging them just in case for extra protection). The cookies even look like real cookies! They've got give (poking them now). Browne tastes more like a decadent cheesecake. Raspberry bar super delicious with a great crumble topping. Anyway....
