It seems like such a peaceful place, everyone I've come across out there walking out doing whatever has been fine experience. Good trails. Interesting views, and access to the bike trail through several damaged sections to the awkward barrier fence by the bike trail. Fun. Escape the sun, or the rain if, it is not a hard rain. Maybe a homeless camp or two, I often ponder whether to approach them and give them supplies or money? Or to just donate to a local charity... But how does that guarantee any help? There is always the option of throwing cash around, and hoping they find all of the notes you leave... Fall, with all the cool and rain, I'm sure there are campers in lots of local areas that could use some direct neighbors...
Read moreThere are only two parking spots but there is usually street parking down the hill. The entire park is on the side of a steep hill but the trail has safe footing even during wet weather. What I like about this forest is it is very beautiful and whenever I'm in the neighborhood I stop with my dog Jazz and do the 15 minute loop. Jazz loves it because there are great sniffs...
