I attended the cake decorating workshop with another person. I had made a booking in advance. The materials for the workshop were provided and our admission included a drink of choice.
Our barista seemed a little distracted as she was on her phone as we were trying to order our drinks. Once we got her attention though, she introduced some potential drink options. There did not seem to be very little drinks on their menu that did not include dairy.
Our instructor, Steven, was very approachable and knowledgeable. He provided easy-to-understand instructions and walked us through the cake decorating instructions step-by-step. He would offer to step in when we needed help. We had taro whipped cream and a plain whipped cream available to decorate our cake. The cake we decorated was a chiffon cake. There were plenty of designs to choose from and we picked the one resembling a jellycat cake.
The mango pomelo drink was good. I feel like the mango bits needed to be a little smaller so that they could fit through the straw. The sago bits were pleasing.
Our workstations were clean: gloves were provided.
Overall a fun experience! Would recommend. Thanks for making this opportunity available. It was cute to get a certificate afterwards too.
The cake was delicious and airy. I would be willing to try their other cakes in the future.
There is a small parking lot outside for patrons. A...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am writing this review out of sheer frustration and disappointment. For a premium price, one expects a premium product.
From the outside, it looked beautiful. But the moment we cut into it, the problem was immediately obvious: there was almost no mango. The description and photos led us to believe it would be bursting with fresh, ripe mango chunks. Instead, we found a scant few, tiny, thin slivers of fruit scattered sparsely throughout the entire cake. The vast majority of it was just layers of plain whipped cream and sponge cake.
To call this a "Mango Cake" is incredibly misleading. It was a whipped cream cake with a hint of mango.
Feeling cheated given the exorbitant cost, I contacted the store. I explained the issue calmly and provided pictures clearly showing the lack of fruit. Their response was shocking and utterly inflexible. The manager simply stated, "that's how the cake is made,$50 is the most that they could refund" and dismissed my complaint entirely. They took no accountability for a product that blatantly failed to meet its description.
Spending $169 on a cake is a luxury, and it should be a flawless experience. This was a complete waste of money.
Save your money and go elsewhere. I would never recommend this store to anyone. The poor quality of the product is only matched by the appalling lack of...

Food: I stopped in after work to grab a drink and a slice of crepe cake. I was the only person in the bakery at the time,so I took a minute to order since it was my first time visiting. I ordered a matcha latte to go with the cake. It took around 15 minutes to get the latte (after watching it come to the counter and then back to the kitchen again). There were at least 3 people I saw behind the counter, so Iām not sure why the wait was long?
The photo attached to this review is the matcha latte I received. It was very unmixed and filled with clumps of matcha that you can see in the photo. The drink also leaked a lot because of the use of the dome lid for a drink like this. So be aware if youāre driving home with a drink.
I was also told when I ordered that they do not offer any non-dairy milk, so be aware if you are intolerant.
Service: The girls that took my order were kind, but I feel like they didnāt know the menu or what was available? I ordered the strawberry matcha latte that was pictured on their menu board as a āpopularā drink and I had to specify the drink I wanted...
