I really like this temple because there is importance given to silence. If you go there right after it opens at 4PM, that time is the quietest. Even at late evenings the focus of most devotees and volunteers is on sincere meditation and keeping the place silent. Children are asked to keep quiet and the elders maintain silence in respect of others as well. I am hoping this is the case going forward as well...I really appreciate being able to meditate there and quieten my mind in front on a beautiful picture of Sai Baba in a peaceful setting.
The music and aaratis played in the background are also soft and pleasant. Sometimes devotees sing aaratis or songs in their own languages which is really nice to listen as well. The temple is run by volunteers, most of whom I've come across are really sweet and sincere people. The prasad is not only delicious, but you can see the sincerity and love put into it by those who have made it.
Also, I love that they sing the original Marathi Aaratis of Sai Baba & other saints, written by various Sants/Poets of Maharashtra from the Bhakti movement. It makes me feel at home listening to & singing them.
Thank you for creating a place that maintains silence & allows us to meditate and quiten the mind while...

Read moreHad great darshan of Babaji. Peaceful place to meditate. When we went it was raining quite heavily. It was almost 8pm. We thought the temple night be closed. To our surprise, there was a gentleman named Subhendu waiting all alone for devotees. He could have locked up and gone home. But he was waiting patiently. I liked the commitment of the temple volunteers. Good time to visit temple is between 6pm and 9pm. There is good parking space and enough space within the temple too. If you are lucky like us, you can get Babaji all for yourself and no tension of social distancing...
