El Rinconsito | Bellevue — Restaurant in Bellevue

I’m a frequent client of El rincosito Bellevue. I have always had a great experience with this location. Everyone is usually very friendly and attentive until my last visit. Upon arrival we were approach by a woman name Elizabeth. She seemed to be a little distracted on other things while taking our order. We had asked for five drink cups and she only charged us four then she proceeded to blaming me for not being “clear” when I had repeated twice that we wanted four drinks on top of the one my sister had asked for already then while we were waiting for our food we noticed we were still missing one of the items so we asked one of the food runners where that item was since we have been waiting for a while now. She went and check with the kitchen but they told her our was order already completed when my boyfriend still didn’t have his food on the table. Peacefully we went upfront to reordered the last item since we know mistakes happen. Elizabeth then with a very nasty attitude brought that food to us. I decided to let her know what the issue was and how none of this would’ve happened if she would have pay attention to us while taking our order. Unable to take accountability for it she once again blamed us for the whole thing and told us she always tries to give her “best service” but it was us who weren’t being clear while ordering then she just proceeded to sprinted off leaving us hanging there. What a disappointing experience that was specially when we had always love the places so much. That type of behavior was unacceptable and we will probably not be returning again. These are the best tacos I have had in the east side so far. They are better than the second best by a large margin. I have been to their Lynnwood location twice and twice at their Bellevue location. If you have no qualms about the ambiance and love your tacos, this is the place for you. First of all, they make their own tortillas, which is a big plus in my books. Once when we went here for dinner I saw them being made right in front of us. So they are super fresh and taste amazing. My go-to order here is their taco plates which come with rice and beans. I usually go for 3 tacos. I love their chicken and adobada(spicy pork) tacos. Another huge plus of this place if their salsa selection which is totally free! They have mild to spicy salsa. Its so much better to have these salsas, they really add to the experience. I also love the fried jalapeno they serve with the taco plate, adds a kick! Service is good, you order at the counter and they bring the order to your table. All their staff speak spanish, and I have seen a lot of hispanic families grabbing food here, which is always a good sign. This has become our goto place whenever we crave tacos. They also have some interesting selection of mexican drinks like tamarind and plum juice which I really enjoy. They are also open late. Just moved from CA and was desperately looking for a taco spot on a Sunday because in CA there are taco spots in every corner and ran into this place. The fact that are open late says to me these must be awesome tacos. Well I went in and a lady greeted me and that was great. A young man took my order and from the get go I sensed he needed some training in customer service because not only did I try to make sure he didn’t add a certain thing to my burrito he had like some kind of attitude and would Interrupt me while I was trying to explain my order so it wouldn’t get messed up because they looked pretty busy. I checked my receipt because I noticed it was a bit pricey and I went and talked to a lady about a order I never made. Again had the young man heard me and let me speak he would have noticed I never made that order. I noticed the mistake I went and asked for a refund for something i didn’t order. Instead of the young man apologizing he claims he read me my order which he never did and made it seem like it was my fault. Had he had better customer service and listened to the customer there may have not been a mistake hence the 4 stars! But aside from that the food was amazing.
