Denny's — Restaurant in Bellflower

Pretty solid place to get food, even in the middle of the night. I don't come here often, but when I do, I'm not disappointed. Food quality is good, service is good, and prices are reasonable. That said, sometimes there's minor issues. Like maple syrup all over the ketchup packets when you only got a burger and fries and nothing else. I don't mind when some stuff leaks out if I have a mixed order with like pancakes with syrup and then some of it comes out onto other stuff, but it's odd when it's only savory items, but there's lots of sticky syrup on your condiments anyways.

Also, I specifically made sure the "plastic utensils" checkbox was unmarked, and even double checked to make sure that the order said not to include disposable silverware for a more eco-friendly order, but I was given them anyway. And more than once, too. This isn't just an issue with Denny's though, it's with every fast food and quick service restaurant I've been to around here. It's not a huge deal (despite the fact that I've got way too many plastic utensils piling up in my home) but one of those small things that prevent me from giving places 5 stars.

The difference between a 4 star review from me and a 5 star review is stuff like consistent quality, getting special requests right, and not messing up minor, but potentially important details. Don't get me wrong, I still recommend this place, it's always been good as long as I've been going here, I just think that it could use a little improvement in some...

This was our fourth time here. First and second time we came in noon time and it a as okay service. Third time was terrible, we came at night and they messed up my order three times and the girl with two ponytails, kinda laughed and argued with me about how my food was right, when I was the one who ordered it. Today, of course was full and we came at ten or so. Denise was our server she had a upbeat attitude. Now when it was time to get our food it was wrong and took way too long. The girl again with two braids which was manager went to the counter and was messing up everyone's order SEEMED like on purpose. She kept looking at our table and we didn't even get our food at the same time, IT TOOK OVER THIRTY MINUTES PER PERSON AND IT WAS FOUR OF US Denise felt really bad. But at that point we were uncomfortable and not at all happy. The manager with two braids is a terrible lead!!! Also, they messed up too many times with our order to the point we canceled it WE WILL NOT RETURN HERE— EVEN IF YOU ARE THE LAST DINER IN THE WORLD.. FOOD WAS THROWN ON PLATE AND THEY COULDN'T GET A SIMPLE ORDER RIGHT, THREE DIFFERENT TIMES, THE LAST TWO TIME WE WENT...

I've always liked this Denny's. The waitresses are always so helpful. Are food was made perfectly. Nice and hot. Drinks were kept filled. The problem I had was watching the one waitress running around doing everything. While the manager stood around not putting any attention to any of the customers. The one small moment in where the manager did try to help clean a table...he dropped the silverware on on the floor. He didn't bother to pick it up, it stayed on the floor as a hazard. 20 min went by and still he would not pick up what he had dropped. The busboy then came out to clear out tables and he picked up the silverware that had been on the floor for 25min. I hate to see lazy management.
