Pollo Campero — Restaurant in Bellflower

June 22, 2025 Today My husband and i went to the Drive thru. We specifically requested EVERYTHING FRESH at least 3 times. We ordered 2 of the 3pc w/2 Sides and 2 extra rolls. Paid almost 35.00. Got home. We were very hungry. Chicken was only lukewarm. Fries was stale laying sideways. I called and spoke to Yinnie who was argumentive. Was saying that the fries had just came up. Listen, I know Fresh fries do not lay sideways. Then she says, I gave you the freshest chicken I had up. No, that's not what I wanted. I wanted FRESH chicken. Even if we had to wait the 15 minutes for it to cook. Then she wanted to only replace one (1) of the dinners. Come on now. Make it make sense. What ever happened to the times when we received Good Customer Service. When you listen to the customers request and you honor their business. When you Appreciate YOUR CUSTOMERS and you want them to come back? I explained to her that we had been there one day last week. Requested the same... FRESH. That is what we got. Which is the reason why we returned today. Finally she said she would replace the order. I should not have had to argue/debate about this matter. If you do it right the 1st time you will not have to redo it.

Our Redo meal was fresh. The chicken and Coleslaw was Very Good. Sorry to say , the Fries was nasty. Tasted like cardboard and still tasted stale. Thank you to the one who gave us 1 Flan dessert for our inconvenience. If I ever return, it will be the chicken (dropped fresh) and Coleslaw with roll only for me. Thank You.

We decided to give this restaurant in Bellflower, CA on Rosecrans another chance. Once again they failed. We ask for everything to be cooked fresh again. Ordered 2 of the 2pc dinners with a Breast & Wing for each. They put a Breast and Thigh. Uuuugh. I called spoke with Isaic who said he would compensate with 3pcs of white the next time we come. I said ok. Started to eat and discovered that the chicken was not fresh.

Needless to say, WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING. THAT IS STRIKE 3 . They can't seemed to get things right at this Restaurant. I will not go back. No No. I do not recommend. They act as if they do not understand their...

I am thrilled to see that there's now a Pollo Campero near my house! Being from Guatemala, I find this place to be almost like a McDonald's in the Guatemalan community. In the past, they only served fried chicken, but now they also serve grilled chicken, which shows that companies need to evolve.

Today, I visited the new Pollo Campero in Bellflower, which opened on September 25th. This place has a drive-thru and plenty of parking. Once inside the restaurant, it was a little busy, but the ambiance was great. I ordered their four-piece chicken with rice and beans, asking to have half fried and the other half grilled. The total amount for this meal should have been close to $18, but since I am part of their rewards program, I used $4 from their Pollo Campero app, so it cost me $13.

My order took about 10 minutes to make, and I noticed they gave me fries instead of rice with my meal. I notified one of the employees of the problem, and we both laughed because we knew it was a misunderstanding since rice and fries sound alike. They gave me my rice and let me have the fries for free, which I thought was nice of them.

As for the chicken, it was delicious. The batter they use is the same as the one I remember from when I used to eat Pollo Campero in Guatemala. The grilled chicken is something new, but it was also delicious because it had a hint of lime flavor.
