The wife and I came in today around 2pm, we were the first to sit down in the dining room near the full liquor bar that they have. It Seemed extremely quiet. However, much to our surprise the food came out super quick and it was so delicious. We got a D19 and a order of House Fried Rice (The White Yang Chow Fried Rice). I can tell everything was made fresh to order. The only thing that came out of a steamer was the Pork fried rice for the D19 combo plate which most Chinese restaurants do anyway for their combos. They will usually make fresh pork fried rice to order when you order it all on its own. The Waiter who served on us was an older Asian man who was super friendly. I can only assume he was the owner. He really seemed to care about our experience here. There was an old Chinese restaurant in East Providence called young China that was in Chen family for many generations and I was deeply saddened when it closed. This experience brought me back to my youth when I would get Chinese with my father every Friday. Bamboo express, you are hidden gem. Thank you for the experience.

We just moved to the area in August from Washington state and this is the best Chinese food we've had in a long time. It's my picky kids new favorite. This was my 2nd time ordering and my kids love their beef teriyaki and chow mein. Best ragoon I've ever had. The people working here are awesome. The guy who has delivered both times is awesome and really polite and nice. My driveway is hard to get in and my house is hard to find and he brings us our food hot each time. This is our new family favorite for days I don't want to cook or we are just to busy. Last time we had egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken and they were great too.

Bamboo Express has new ownership and is one of my go to's for local Chinese food. The young lady behind the counter is very friendly as she is usually multitasking. They do a lot of takeout and delivery. Some of their food is phenomenal like the Egg Foo Young, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef and Mushrooms. Their appetizers are pretty solid. Egg Rolls are the cabbage type. I'm more of an old school celery based type. Hot and Sour Soup has nice flavor but sometimes I need to add a little heat. Overall it is a solid takeout restaurant. I have not dined in since the new management. I do recommend!

So this review is not based on the quality of the food. If I could give 2 and a half stars I would. I have ordered OUT from this restaurant plenty of times before, never have I been disappointed from this restaurant taste. Unfortunately, the other day I was very disappointed in the quality of staff. My coworker and I had gotten off work around 5pm and decided to go for dinner. When we gotten there, there was only one other family. When he showed us to our seat, he sat us next to the bathroom and right and I do mean RIGHT next to the other family. In a restaurant with no one else, why seat us right on top of the other family? In this corner near the bathrooms it was very dark and there was no music playing. Kinda hard to have a conversation with someone else when there's another family right there and nothing drowning out what you're saying to the other person you're with. He handed us our menus and walked away. As we where looking at our menus I pointed out that there was no drink menu. Which is okay, I would have just ordered a Sprite and moved on with my night, which my coworker also felt this equally. We sat there for about 10 minutes when the waiter came over with drinks for the family next to us. We were sitting there for 10 minutes and they finally got their drinks. How long did they wait till they got their drinks? So as we sat there and looked at this waiter we figured after she was done, she would come over to us... no she did not. We sat there for another 10 minutes contemplating on what to do. So, we decided to leave. As we left we noticed 4 other waiters behind the bar all just standing there. And they just let us leave. Didn't even acknowledged us, not even a have a good night! So, we took our money elsewhere and went to Outback. I honestly wouldn't recommend eating here, but do order out. The food is great, the service and atmosphere of the restaurant.. not so much. Also if you do ever go to Outback steakhouse ask for a waiter named Jared. You'll be very please with having him as...

I am revising my previous review, as the food at Bamboo Express has taken a huge town for the worse. They took my favorite menu item off the menu, everything is greasy as hell, literally ANYTHING fried tastes like fish that's part it's expiration date, the online ordering system is a waste of time since you still have to call in to pay for it, the woman who answers the phone speaks almost no English when you call to place an order or pay for an online order or to complain when their food sucks, and yet speaks perfect English when you get there (so that act is just a farce to avoid responsibility - and she's just plain rude), the delivery person is an idiot (he once told me that I didn't know my own address), and they're closing at 9pm on a Saturday now - and that's just taking it way too damn far. This "family" is intentionally running their own "family run business" into the ground because they're just plain lazy.

It's kind of like a 4 pack a day smoking alcoholic who smokes crack - they're just committing restaurant suicide in slow motion.

I honestly don't know what the point was in ever reopening, since they clearly don't want to be in business, but I think we should all just give them what they clearly want and choose one of the 11 other Asian restaurants that deliver to Bellingham.

Screw...
