We were not super impressed with this restaurant. We went after the lunch rush. The breakfast special with pancakes eggs and sausage was great. My son enjoyed it and there was plenty of food. $6 plus individual charges for each topping was a bit over the top for a standard Belgian Waffle, especially when you have a child that wants all the toppings. The toppings were skimpy. For the price we expected it to be loaded, but there was a little fruit, whipped cream and chocolate chips. It barely covered the middle of the waffle. He and my husband left still hungry. I ordered a Reubin Sandwich. The flavor was good, but there was no sauerkraut on it at all, not even cole slaw (which is not a Reubin but at least I could have pretended) it was a corned beef sandwich on Rye with a lot of dressing. The flavor was nice, but not what I expected. I ordered a coffee and was never offered refills. I ended up drinking my husband's water because there was no one available to ask for my own. The waitress was nice, but scarce once we got our food until she came with a box and a bill. The staff was friendly, in fact socializing and cleaning the entire time we were there. We started to feel like maybe they were closing and we were holding them up, but when I asked (while paying the bill) the waitress told us she still had several hours and they were open late. They have other good reviews and the flavor of what we did get was good. Hopefully we just hit an off day or time. Unfortunately this experience was expensive (close to $50) and does not seem worth our risk of going back...
Read moreThe owner is very friendly and seems to be plugged in to the location, and familiar with regular customers.
We went here thinking, "pizza place, pizza sounds good," but discovered that they have a pretty broad offering. I had a giant breakfast combo (3 pancakes, 3 sausage, 3 bacon, 3 scrambled, home fries), and declined the toast that was included... I was pretty sure I'd be good with the 4-pounds of other food I was ordering. My wife had an Italian sub.
Good food. I was shocked, though, at some of the pricing of certain items I saw on the menu. NOT too expensive... I actually was wondering... "How does he make money selling this dish at such a low price?!". Example: Steak tips and eggs with home fries - $12.99. dude ... Ground beef is like $9.39 a pound right now... Steak is more... How can you sell that dish for 13 bucks???
I was thinking of speaking to him, as the CEO of a business consulting firm, but just let it go, I was with family.
Go here if you're hungry. You'll be not hungry after, and will...
Read morebeen going here for twenty years normally very good, recently been ordering alot with my entire warehouse, until today. they some how mixed up delivery address that i,ve been using for 7 months with billing address ( all of this is automated at this point) and when calling back to ask what happened after they hurried away from their delivery encounter, swore at me and called me derogatory names. this is beyond unacceptable. needless to say none of my associates or family will be returning. *Edited in response to reply: nothing I do or did has anything to do with how you spoke to a customer. I went back and checked as I still had the screen up and it was correct. After months of ordering to the same place it automatically updates everything. I don't have to input anything. This isnt the first mistake you've made, three weeks ago you forgot 6 sandwichs SIX!!! I'm sure that was my mistake too. Lol keep up the great work, try not to swear at any...
