Honey Dew Donuts — Restaurant in Bellingham

I wouldn't even give this store a star if I had a choice! I just went through the drive thru 20 minutes ago and the young girl used HER BARE FINGERS to put sugar in our 2 coffees! I parked the car and couldn't believe what I just saw!! I went in and asked her for 2 new coffees, since my daughter and I saw what she did. She responded "O sorry about that" and laughed. As I turned to walk out, she grabbed the 2 coffees I returned and laughed along with the other young girl she was working with. So disgusted I chose not to drink my coffee. Not only is this so disrespectful, so unsanitary, it's flu season for crying...

SCARRED & SAD… I felt completely unwelcome… I walked in the store & not a single person said hi (5-6 employees) I went to use the restroom.. As I was leaving a young lady (employee) was standing there (waiting) with a bag & disinfectant… & immediately rushed in there to start cleaning.. I felt filthy, stupid, & hated.. I’m African American… & this was extremely racist and disrespectful… You have been warned…. I didn’t want to make this post but I can’t get it off my mind.. I had to speak my truth… May God...

Staff is always friendly. Restaurant is clean. I like that they have a trash barrel at the drive through. I prefer their coffee. They do a great job making an Iced Mocha. I like the Steak Egg and Cheese on a chibatta or the Waffle Sandwich. My daughter taught me to squirt a little ketchup on the Homefries and sheke them up when in the car.
