I have been dining here for over a decade. It started with free spaghetti for my kids when they were toddlers. We always come for the spaghetti or baked pasta dishes honestly because that’s what we like here everything else is pretty bland. In my opinion the pizza is OK just not the style of pizza I prefer but I see from the reviews a lot of other people enjoy it so that’s great. That being said I have brought people here before that I absolutely hated the spaghetti sauce and I’m not sure why bc and my family love it. I do have a decade old question for the owners, though I have always wondered why the sauce is brown and not red? Are you guys using different color tomatoes possibly to reduce acidity or are you adding some thing else to the sauce like, maybe eggplant? I have always been curious, so I figured I would ask. My order of cheese bread today looks like it was old and had been sitting around for a while. Usually the cheese bread is on point and fresh looking and fluffy. I’m pretty sure today I may have been giving someone else’s order that wasn’t picked up or they change their mind on it or something because it definitely looked old. But it’s ok we will still be back this is the first time something like this has ever happened. Usually everything is fresh and perfect.

Love, love Cascade Pizza! They are the very first restaurant we went to when we moved to Bellingham 31 years ago! We were tired and very hungry from unloading the moving truck. Being strangers in a new land we didn't know where anything was and stumbled on them by accident. When we walked in the place we were greeted by the aroma of good food, NIck's glowing smile and his welcoming arms. It was like we had just come home. The amazing food and incredible hospitality brought us back time and time again. Now here we are 30 some years later and still going back, time and time again. Nick has retired but his daughter Tina and her husband Pete are producing the same wonderful food and greet you with the same open arms “welcome home” type of hospitality! You can’t help but go back! They are a great family and serve great food! Besides the pizza, I love their pepperoni lasagne and bbq chicken. They also make a great gluten free pizza. Get it with the chicken and bbq sauce! Yummy! Try them out and don’t leave the place without ordering a bowl of their Lemon Chicken Soup! It is the best soup on the planet! 😍

We attempted to place a large order on June 6th, 2022.  I tried calling first to let them know it was a large order and find out what would be the best way to order it.  I checked every online source (google, their own website, Facebook, etc.) to verify that they were open and would be open until 8pm.  I called at least 15 times, but the phone rang for several minutes and then hung up.

I decided to just order online and hope for the best.  After taking the time to order everything, we set it up for a 6:30pm pickup (giving them an hour to prepare the order), the system said "that time slot is not available", so we bumped it to 6:45pm and the order went through.  Then almost immediately we got another message that said there was a problem with the order and it was cancelled. I checked my bank account, and sure enough, $160.00 had been taken out of my account.  I messaged them through FB and told them I wanted my money refunded immediately!  I got a message back and they said the staff is all on vacation this week but would be open on Friday (June 10th).  They then messaged me and told me to stop being so aggressive!

Absolutely unacceptable response from a business that took $160 out of my account and they weren't even open.  Long story short, it is now Wed. June 8th and the transaction is still pending and the money has been taken out of my available balance.  Also, every online source still shows they are open for business.  They clearly don't care if this inconveniences their customers. I'm all for supporting small businesses, but their attitude toward me was ridiculously rude and dismissive, and also, for a company that has been in business for 40+ years that didn't take the time to update their hours (as closed for this week), doesn't have a voicemail indicating that they are closed, and has a crap ordering system that takes money from customers when closed, I wouldn't spend one dime here, nor will I ever refer anyone to this...

We were there peak dinner hour on a Friday evening and was surprised there was very few people there. Our granddaughter was crankie but the waitress was patient even though she had to come back a few times because we had trouble ordering. We don't drink pop, there was no juice so we ordered the lemon aid that tasted watered down and barely had flavor. My husband tried to order a beer but there selection was of nothing we were familiar with so didn't order any. My granddaughter said she wanted extra garlic bread and I said no your order comes with bread, but the waitress ordered us extra bread that we were charged for (2 half slices). My spaghetti arrived with the cheese dark and overcooked (cheese should be melted not hard brown) and very little sauce or meat, just noodles. I wasn't impressed. Ordered a salad without cheese, it came with cheese anyway. My husband ordered extra salad dressing for his chief salad because the containers are extremely small, they charged $1 for each extra dressing! The salads are bagged lettuce that didn't even taste fresh. Over all not great food and we won't go back.

Tina. You sound defensive instead of understanding. We said no to the French bread but you brought it anyway and charged us. The salad dressing is very small and there should be enough for a salad without charge. And the salads taste like it came from a bag. The cheese on top of the baked pasta's is seconds away from being burnt was tough and uncuttable. Underneath there is very little sauce on the pasta. You use to have good food but your food has gone down hill and instead of listening to your customers and possibly making improvements, you...
