This is a warning to everyone with a food allergy. On March 3, 2021, my college age daughter ordered a drink with the mobile app and requested Oat milk. They used dairy, hopefully by accident but at this point who knows? I reported the incident to this store while she was still receiving treatment in the ER. I reported to Starbucks corporate on their website and neither responded. A month later I filed another corporate report, which had a sympathic response but no action. Another 2 weeks, another report with no action. Contacted the CEO who forwarded it to an executive named Brian who informed us they will not reimburse us her medical bills but offered $75 to come back and have a better experience. She almost died. She will not be giving them another chance. Her medical bills were $1100 and that is with our insurance adjustment. Unless you are willing to gamble with an anaphylactic reaction, can afford an ER bill and replacement epipens, do not order from this or any Starbucks. They made it clear, this multi-billion dollar global company does not care if they cause an anaphylactic reaction and you are responsible for all resulting medical expenses that they cause. They are not vegan, celiac, or food allergy safe. They are careless, callous, and added insult to a serious injury.. Be careful, be well, find a local coffee shop that will make your order...
Read moreDrive through is terrible. Several times on my way to work, they have not gotten my order right. I pull away to find out they have gotten my drink wrong or given me a donut when I wanted a muffin. I never complain because I never have the time to go back in and request them to get it right. Once or twice I understand but it’s happened almost every time I’ve gone there in the past few weeks. It shouldn’t be a daily problem. And I shouldn’t have to argue with the staff every time I go. I feel as though there is always allot of staff behind the bar and allot of unnecessary commotion that becomes confusing for everyone. Also there isn’t a screen to look over in the drive through to make sure the barista on the other end gets your order right. I hate to give a bad review but it’s a continuous problem. I don’t know if anyone else feels the same way. But I go out of my way to avoid this...
Read moreUsually I have a lovely time here, but today I had an experience that I felt was a little inappropriate. My usual order is a black iced tea with splenda, and as I pulled up to the window to pay for my order I heard the barista saying “yeah, splenda is bad for you.” She was likely talking to a coworker over her headset, but me and my partner could both clearly hear her from the car. I get splenda in my drinks because I am a Type 1 diabetic and it is difficult for me to find sugar alternatives that do not raise my blood sugar. Hearing my barista say this right before handing me a drink with splenda made me feel awful and ashamed for just trying to get a drink I can enjoy. I didn’t catch the barista’s name, but I know she had a blue koala on her name tag. I just hope in the future the baristas here are more careful about how they speak...
