Starla’s is an absolute gem in Bellingham! This natural wine bar, owned by a passionate and friendly couple, offers a curated selection of natural wines that are both exciting and approachable. Every visit feels like a new adventure, thanks to their thoughtfully rotating wine list.
One of the best ways to dive into their offerings is through their $15 tastings on Thursdays—an amazing deal that lets you sample unique wines and expand your palate without the hefty price tag. The laid-back, intimate vibe makes it the perfect spot for catching up with friends, a relaxed date, or even a solo glass with a good book.
What really sets Starla’s apart is the food. Their light bites are divine—the French deviled egg is a delightful twist on a classic, and the burnt potato is bursting with flavor in every bite. The attention to detail in both wine and food makes this place unforgettable.
The owners’ love for what they do shines through in every interaction, creating a space that feels like home. Whether you’re a natural wine connoisseur or just dipping your toes into the world of wine, Starla’s will welcome you with open arms and an...
Read moreGreat little spot in downtown, really busy on a Saturday, no call ins just order in person and wait, 45min for this one but it was worth it, this is the best pizza in Bellingham hands down. Great crunch on this pizza, underside is perfect, did lose some crunch towards center but l'll give it the benefit of the doubt it seemed like it was in the box for a little bit. Cheese is great didn't pick up much of the parm however. But the best part is the sauce, wow is that sauce good, not too sweet and really nice punch of umami in there. Worth the wait and $18 is not bad for a quality pizza in...
Read moreWow! What a great addition to Bellingham. The pizza was more akin to New York than Naples, with a crispy crust that held its own shape. The dough recipe is clearly a labor of love becuase it’s light, tangy and crisp. We loved their seasonal corn and pickled Fresno pizza, and their cheese pizza with sausage and basil. Their focaccia was also divine, whoever is in charge of dough knows what they’re about.
You order at the bar and find a seat so be prepared to wait as the space fills up fast. We will be back next time we...
