Moozy’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in Belmont

We have been customers for years and truly loved the place: selection of frozen yougurt and ice cream, atmosphere, staff. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was nothing close to those great memories: we went around lunch time, place was empty with a team members standing behind the counter doing nothing. My daughter and I came for soft serve. Out of all machines only 1 was working, no signs on others, so we learned by trying to get soft serves from others and have told about it to the staff members. There were no " sorry " at all, just something like "oh,machine is broken". After making our choice, the only available, I asked for waffle cone. One of members grabbed it for me with no gloves on, without using paper, just like that. They were very surprised when I have asked for another one, again, no apologies. It's very sad to see when people working in such well known in community places stop care...Certainly, we are...

Price shown on menu (Oakley Rueben sandwich) in the store is 3 dollars lower than price on receipt. I casually asked about it as it was just 3 bucks and didn’t really matter, but the cashier look completely indifferent and said yeah the price in the computer is higher. Like I should’ve been able to peek into your computer and not look at your public menu? I was being very polite, just one question, kept my voice low, and didn’t even ask for anything let alone refund, yet they show zero signs of the tiniest apologies. Just utter indifference. It tells you how bad this place is run, straight up false advertising with a remarkable employee base and owner/manager absent... Let me guess, the owner couldn’t care less either as one bad review likely won’t cost them anything. The food itself was mediocre, your typical run of the mill fast food place, nothing...

Really cute little restaurant with good ice cream and outdoor seating that I'll never eat actual food at again. The ice cream is high-quality, but the service in general just can't be trusted. The kind of place where the grilled cheese feels like two pieces of wonder bread and a slice or two of American, and your "juicy lucy" burger comes on the same wonder bread so makes a grease mess, and since it's raw in the center they take it off your plate and you eat your fries while you wait for another.

The kind of place where they'll stop talking to each other to ask what flavors you want on your brownie sundae, then push it towards you with no syrup or whipped cream or nuts because they're already deep in conversation.

Go for a simple cone and sit outside on nice days...
