Stopped by this afternoon and ordered two drinks: a hot tea and an iced coffee. The store was not busy, but with only two people working the service was extremely slow. The iced coffee came immediately, but I waited for the tea for over 15 minutes. I had to ask the whereabouts of my drink because many other customers with more complex drinks were entering, ordering (not online orders), and exiting with their drinks before me. The person making the drinks ignored me when I asked twice. This person was VERY busy (the only one actually making all the drinks) and I could see how hard they were working, so I asked the person at the register. Their attitude was not welcoming and even seemed annoyed that I asked after patiently waiting. I told this person that they need more people working. I was not trying to be rude- just stating the obvious, but this person's response was full of much attitude and eye rolls. They proceeded to tell me that they were sick with food poisoning from the night before and at least they came into work. I asked if there was a manager I could contact and they would not give me a name. I asked if there was a number I could call to complain and they literally said, "call whoever you want, I don't care". It's unfortunate that me as a paying customer receives treatment like this. I can see if I was rude to the employee, but I was not rude or disrespectful....I am disappointed with this location, and this is not the first time. This Starbucks is always so understaffed- with waiting times of over 15 minutes for simple drinks. Writing a negative review online is is not a common occurrence for me, but I am repeatedly dissatisfied with the service.
Hopefully management can staff more effectively. It might decrease employee...
Read moreupdate A year later and they are just as disorganized as ever. Today I ordered and paid for a Venti drink and a Danish not warmed up. I got a tall drink presented to me with a Danish that was warmed up. I swear they are in a hurry to get it done that they don't stop to listen to the customer. They were so busy that I couldn't tell them what I got was wrong so I just took it and left. The wrong drink is new but they always get my Danish order wrong - every time even though I make it extremely clear not to warm it up.

Read moreI live in Belmont, and this location has been my go-to spot before work in the morning. However, I’ve noticed that younger employees have been hired. These individuals, for the last two months, have consistently gotten my order wrong. I also noticed a lot of joking around, flirting, and even horseplay behind the counter. This needs to be investigated immediately as this is unproffessional. We all pay Starbucks prices at this location, but we have definitely not been recieving quality...
