Vibes Restaurant and Lounge — Restaurant in Belvedere Park

In all seriousness this can happen any club! But i experience this issue at vibes several times most recently as the night of 11/27/24 and witness it happen to other couples. I hope the owner of vibes is reading this review. I have been going to this venue off and on for the past 20+ years. It has a grate island atmosphere. Love the music ! The issue is, some of the men that frequent the club can be very disrespectful and aggressive with try to touch women that don't want to be touched. If you go to vibes with your wife or girlfriend and she is a beautiful woman. Be prepared for the disrespect. Some of those men will try to test your man hood by going as far as trying to touch her or make a pass at your wife or girlfriend in your presence. This can lead to a serious confrontation when mixed with alcohol, making the venture unsafe to take your wife or girlfriend.

Apart from the issue above its a grate...

I recently visited Vibes Nightclub in Decatur, and I was thoroughly impressed! The moment I walked in, I felt the energy and warmth of the atmosphere. The live reggae band was phenomenal, keeping the crowd entertained and dancing all night.

The food was surprisingly delicious, with a great selection of options to satisfy any craving. The drinks were crafted to perfection, and the happy hour specials were unbeatable.

What truly stood out was the welcoming vibe (no pun intended!) of the staff and patrons. Everyone seemed to be having an amazing time, and the positivity was contagious.

Ok music and good vibes. The hostesses try their best to accommodate customers when busy but their are shady ones who will swipe your card erroneously. Take cash to have a good time - don’t use your debit/credit card!! They do not hold tabs anyway and you’ll be free from having to dispute charges that were not actual purchases. I got two glasses of wine…my card was rang twice for both transactions as it should have been; however upon reviewing my account, I noticed a $15.60 transaction I did not authorize with no receipt for.
