Listen. It's no secret their breakfast foods are amazing. Every location is packed. I saw the pictures for this location and got so excited for them. How cute right? I instantly fell in love with all the plants and sun. We live right next to the Rockford location but becuz we got incredibly bad service the day before by a very rude and snotty server we ventured out to Belvidere to try the new spot the next day. Sadly, I will not be returning. Yes it's beautiful and yes the food still has an unmatched parallel but boy. It was so crowded it was genuinely off-putting. I mean way to go for them but for the patron...ehhhhhhhh. kind of miserable ngl. The space is beautiful but it's very small and knowing how busy they get I don't see how they can keep up using this space for long. Watching waitresses walk up and down stairs with a massive tray of food is actually scary especially coupled with so many people standing around.

Service when Sat was hectic. Things forgotten. Things spilled. Stress from servers is highly evident. Yes the food was good. But to go out and feel stressed as a paying guest is not the experience I wanted. The wait was 30 mins and told to wait in our car becuz space was limited and then the dining experience is stressful as the servers are clearly overwhelmed and overworked forgetting, spilling, and long periods of waiting.

I love the food. We go out to eat daily and work in a restaurant ourselves. We are grateful and try to make the servers life as easy as possible. But I can't return to this location with how limited the space is for waiting customers and then how stressed the service is there after

Food quality is excellent tho. The charm of the location is spoiled by the staffs stress. We will just get to go from now on. I will miss the coffee which is 65% of the reason I go out for breakfast at a diner but ho boy. Too stressful for me anymore. Try it for yourself though. Becuz the food is great the pancakes linger in your mind for an eternity. Constant coffee refills is amazing. The amount of food you get is incredible. Price is reasonable. And the location is...

I wasn’t able to leave a longer review because of Facebook word limit, so I figured I’d come here to leave a full review.

Tuesday I called about the cream of spinach soup (daily soup special). I never ever see it in restaurants, so I was SUPER EXCITED! The girl who answered the phone when I called was very sweet and let me know they offer it at Rockford location and this one. Perfect! I live right in town here.

I headed over and promptly ordered two bowls to go, and while I stood waiting, everyone was super nice and knew I was the girl who called about the soup.

Sometimes places have soups and they’re underflavored or just a bit too starchy. One bite of this soup, and I was in heaven. I normally add salt and pepper to my soup, but I didn’t have to add ANYTHING to this. My only regret is I only ordered two bowls. I wish I got more. I now know my Tuesday night dinner choice.

They also have many options for every diet (I don’t eat meat), so I’m excited to try more from here!

This place is fantastic. The food was delicious, service was friendly and quick, we barely had a wait for our food to come out, and to top it all off, I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup.

My only complaints really, are all very minor. The building it's self was a little difficult to find, but that's more because I'm not from the area than anything else.

All of our food was delicious and prepared flawlessly. The pancakes we done perfectly, not too chewy, and very tasty (though personally I would have liked a little more vanilla, but I'm a weirdo 😅) My omelette was spot on, the eggs were light and fluffy, the mixed in ingredients weren't overpowering, and it was a nice mix of everything.

The building it's self was also adorable, I love the mix of bricks and old wood. However it looks new, fresh, and clean at the same time.
